I hate the text.. It doesn't with the background at all.. Change it to something more cursive like to make it flow better.

Add alittle more to the background, its really plain and boring, or save it as a png, so you don't just see this black block..

the black is just there because you can see the logo better with it.

It's gonna be on an album cover...so there's gonna be something else going on in the bg.

CRS stands for Child Rebel Soldiers.

It's a group consisting of Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

And the the hands are a mix of the Dynasty sign which represents Roc A Fella Records(Kanye)

and the Vulcan Salute from Star Trek which represents Pharrells label. If you turn the hands down a little you get 2 f's which stands for FNF(Lupe's Label) :D

The smooth gradients effect is cool. I like the text effects you have, but it should be a bit more legible, since it's for promotion. And the border would look better, imo if the left side wasn't completely white and the right completely black. I would do something more gray toned so it stands out but not so much.
