"Hey Mel, we're going to be doing some training out side, would you like to join us?"
Kakashi offered to her as Naruto and sauske ran out the bus door at the same time.
"umm sure."
She said softly, her eyes not meeting his. She pulled on her navy blue sandals and her headband. They congrigated on the soft grass where the LP guys laid out and streatched their legs. It was a large open field. Kakashi surveyed his suroundings. Mel's eyes nervously flickered towards Neji. Kakashi gave her a smile.
"Mel, I'd like you to fight first. Naruto, would you be so kind as to sparr her?"
Mel nervously saw rob sit up from his recumbant position on the grass. Mel drew in a shaky breath as she stood infront of Naruto. She bowed and then took up a stance that Naruto recognized was similar to Neji's stance. He gave a laugh.
"Come on! Your not gonna win Believe it!"
Naruto shouted as he took up a stance as well. Mel gave a smirk. Her relaxed stance seemed to put naruto off gaurd. She closed her eyes and focused her chakra towards her eyes. She opened them up again. Naruto had charged at her in that brief moment her eyes were shut. Mel instantly side stepped him and delivered a blow between Naruto's shoulder blades, causing the blond haired kid to stagger. He whirled around with a punch. It was almost as if Mel was anticipating his move, she caught the fist effortlessly. They both pushed back, landing in their original starting positions.
"Master! Her eyes are red like yours is except its white instead of black!"
Sakura shouted to Kakashi. Naruto dissapeared. Mel was instantly surrounded by full flesh clones. She struck with an open palm at one of the clones that was right behind her. Naruto crashed down to the ground, his clones dissapearing with a poof.
"Your getting on my nerves believe it!"
Naruto shouted as he charged at her once more. Mel made rapid hand movements and then her blue stripe began to glow. She then struck Naruto with both hands palm open sending him flying a good thirty feet away.
"Neji, would you fight her?"
Neji stood up with a smirk. Mel lowered her eyes to the ground.
"i'm not a fool like Naruto. Your shy, selfconcious and weak. This is a waste of my time."
Neji spat as he took up a fighting stance. Mel brought up her own as she stared at him intently with her red/white eyes. Instantly she was slammed into the ground repeatedly. Neji was moving too fast for her to track or predict his movements. Every time she tried to get up once more, she was knocked down again. Rob lept up to help his daughter, Kakashi threw his arm up, stopping the drummer in his tracks. Mel's blue striped began to glow and her cuts and bruises that Rob saw were instantly healed. Standing up she made a quick hand sign.
"Demonic Ice Mirrors Jitsu!"
She shouted as Neji tried to escape. He was surrounded by crystaline Ice mirrors every which way he turned. Sauske held his breath as Kakashi, Naruto, and sakura recognized the jitsu from their battle on the bridge in the land of the waves.
"Kakashi sensei, isnt that the one....."
"Its the same one Haku used on the bridge. Her master must have had a blood line to teach her."
Kakashi mused as Mel fired ice needle after needle in a barrage against Neji's defense. Neji went down for the count. The mirrors dissapeared leaving him all ****** and scratched on the ground. Mel brought a hand to her nose and touched the tip of it with her two extended fingers. the same light blue aura that the stripe was giving off engulffed her whole hand. She placed it on Neji's ****** back and instantly healed his wounds. Neji then pushed her aside and stood up all on his own.
"just because you beat me once dosent mean anything. your still weak. You dont know what it means to be a shinobi."
Neji said coldly as he walked off. Rob gave her a huge hug and commented to the point of belaboring her newer skills. Mel blushed even deeper. It could have been worse. Like that time her dad took her out to an italian resturant in West Chester PA and totally embarrassed her infront of Bam Margera and his crew. She grimaced at the memory of her dad calling THE bam margera, Ham. it was so embarrassing, she would have given everything in Ft Knox to dissapear.
"dad your so weird."
she muttered under her breath.
