im pretty new here...but I believe that if the people who have been named here have earned the right to become more than regular members, then by all means, make them mods, admins, etc. they can probably help out when the other dudes aren't here.

as for mods and admins:

Mods: Victim and I both check LPF every single day, usually always multiple times a day. We're both really active, so I see no need in new mods.

Admins: Vash and UM0 are on quite a lot too...maybe not as much as Victim and I, but still a lot and they're doing a sweet job. No need for new admins either

^ I agree.. I have been on all day, only because I was sick, and could stay home, but I am on everyday before and after school moving threads and banning people.. I know the spam can get bad, but if you guys would just report them and NOT POST in the thread, everything would go alot smoother.. You just have to have faith in your Mod and Admin Team.. I may not post alot, but that is just because I hang out in the backround to make sure things are running smooth.

like peet said making more mods wont hurt any one and if you dont wanne do that least give some of the active and loyal members elite...

The site is recieving alot more attention now that it has in the past six to seven months...so I am happy with our current staff.

And everyone, please, don't make inhuman requests of the LPF staff. They cannot possibly sit at thier computer screens every waking moment of thier lives (not to say some of them don't cut it close), and they can't possibly track down every bad member, and every bad thread.

The problems you are talking about stem from issues with member involvement/cooperation. See a bad thread? Report it. See a bad member? Report them. Doing those two things alone will help out the staff greatly.

And just so the newer members in this thread know, I was a Mod once so I do know how it is.

I dont think we need new mods/admin. The ones we have at the moment are fine.

The spam issues arent their fault. And such an issue requires community and staff action.

As for your choices for new mods/elites. I think they are based on personal preference and friendship, rather then who really deserves it. There are alot more members on here, who have been around alot longer and as active as those members you listed.

But yeah, current staff is fine, although I wouldnt mind being an Elite sometime

This is my opinion. (which probably is going to sound dumb, but ill put it forward anyways).

Instead of the Mods and Adim having all the power, because i honestly dont think its fair that when it comes to decision such a who becomes a new elite that they get the say. Why dont we have like little elections.

For example, after a certain period of time we rotate who is an elite depending on how well behaved they were as an elite. e.g. whether we think they spammed to much and whether we think they were just out ragiously rude.

That way, everybody can be an elite for a while. If they get too big for there boots they just wont be voted for in the next election and they go back to blue.

And, the same will be done for mods and adims.

i think its fair and democratic.

more mods WILL hurt. there's such a thing as 'too much power'.

I think the mods now are great. You have two totally different kind of people and we both take care of what needs to be done. I like to be more open and post a lot while still working, while Victim likes to remain behind the scenes, which allows him to do more

there was a discussion not long ago in the staff forum about just totally getting rid of elites because it seemed unfair and some members don't need to be elites, etc. like they were saying the whole system is messed up.

who knows we might make a new thread and discuss it since it's become a hot topic lately in this section.

Im happy at the position im in right here. Just a member...don't really have to worry about anything but posting and having fun.

Let the people who are mods and admins do their job...they know they have to do their job. Also, they aren't robots...they arent online 24/7 so uhhh GIVE THEM A BREAK.
