Lets discuss weight loss success stories!!

lol sounds fun right? right? doesnt it?

Lets see, last year i was a 6-3 291 (ahhh!!!!) lbs man beast, lol,

ehh but now i lost 71 pounds so i'm 6-3 220 (would enter thumbsup icon but theres "too many pictures")

At times i felt hopeless but in the end it doesnt even matter. ;)

I've basically starved myself this last month though, lost 35 in 30 days. (that gets a :) combined with a :( and i guess a lil :eek: )

i'll get into that in another thread because that topic is bound to throw this one off track.

edit: LOL, i had too many emoticans! lmao!

I guess i'll give you some pointers- Salads are great, only 15 calories a serving. 15! I must have ate 2000 salads the past year lol. walk a mile or something.

Dont be afraid to run.

I started running about a month ago, at first i was exausted after 0.3 miles, lol. Now i run 1.5 a night. Running does a lot. I can run off .6-1.0 lbs just running.

I am 4 ' 11 and weigh 89 pounds last time i checked. The Doctor says I am 25 pounds under the average weight of a person at 13 years old. So I need to gain 1 pound each month so I might be 90 pounds by now not sure.

Been there. You get to that point where a increase in weight is devastating. You just gotta work your way through it, stick to the plan, it will all work out. Because you know in a month you'll be wishing you stuck to the plan.

If you feel like you messed up, dont let it get to you. You gotta maintian sanity. If you feel like eating bacon and eggs is bad, make it up the next day by replacing that with something you think is good.

I guess some advice that would apply to weight loss-Always focus on what you did right, because you know your capable of that. You just have to eliminate the mistakes.

Im trying to lose weight right now...i just started my diet today...i plan to lose...like 60 pounds (**** ill be a beanpole hehe)....but of course ironically our tredmill broke so itll be a while until i can get my excercise in. ARG! oh wellz...the best diet food is lowfat ranch dressing and carrrots! yummy! ^_-

i recently joined a really nice expensive gym. i go about 3 times a week and i'm really trying to tone up. i go as fast as i possible can on the treadmill. right now thats at 7 lol.
 
I was wating holiday rescue and there was this tubby family and they had to do this bush walk thing and the parents (just because the didn't want to/ couldnt do it) were trying to convince their child not to and he was enjoying the walk. I mean seriously!

eh i need to shed a few pounds... my new years resolution is to be thinner... just gunna eat ALOT of salad... not that that's a bad thing...i LOVE salad... hehe... just couldnt eat it with braces... the lettace got all cought up around the wire and ****...

so alot of salad coupled with some meditation and a good helth spell and i'll be fit in notime...lol

well two years ago i wieghed 250 pounds and was 6'3, and in about 1 mouth or 2 i weighed on 200 pounds... this happen cause i had no money to eat... i was actually trying to lose weight... i could care less what others think of me...

Medical bullcrap. Thats all dieting and the obesity epidemic is. The doctors and the government claim some foods are healthy and some aren't, and now look at us. Point: We were one of the first countries to have suggested serving size, and now we are one of the most overwieght countries on the planet.

You see, when I was 11 and 12, my diet consisted mainly of Pop-Tarts, Foot Long Slim Jims, gaint glasses of Milk, jumbo bags of Doritos, and fast food. 13-15 consisted of Jack's pizza, mini pizzas, microwave burritos, 40 Tostinos pizza rolls a serving, and about 2-3 cans of pop. At 17, after years of this 'diet' that would appaull most doctors, I am 6'2'' and wiegh about 175 pounds, five pounds underneath the 'healthy' BMI suggested wieght.

Doctors claim to know health but they don't ****. People are getting fat because we are trying to tell people what to eat. I eat whatever I want, and I'm skinny. In fact, I'm actually pretty active and what-not. I look at the fat kids in the school lunchroom, and I eat more then they do. By telling people what to eat, doctors and scientists try to force food down people's throats.

Some people say I have a faster metabolism, and that is bullcrap. My metabolism is how fast I digest, so logically it simply means I can eat more fatty foods, and get fatter. But I don't. Doctors are going to kill this country. I don't trust them.

The fact is people that there is no magic diet, there is no magic pill, there is no magic excersise. All of this is bullcrap fed to us by imbeciles who have no idea what health is. What it comes down to is what you are eating, period.
