After listening to Linkin Park's new song "What I've Done" I can clearly say not that this is by far the best song they've ever made and completely blows everything from their previous albums out of the water. They've really vastly improved and I like the direction they're going in.

I only buy singles if the band releases a really good song that's not on any of their albums. It's rare but it's been done before I think. Dir en grey's Ain't Afraid to Die single is the only one I think of off hand.
