Sounds like entrapment to me. There probably wasn't a lock on that doggy-door - sounds like an open invitation to me. I'm sure they had their constitutional rights violated. A good defense attorney will probably have them off scott-free and sue the homeowner for everything she has (at least the stuff they didn't get away with).

Oh yeah... my brother doesn't care. Battlecat used to sleep between his Buick and his wife's Highlander. Now he pretty much has the whole house to himself.

And let me tell you, Battlecat's appetite is insatiable. We can't stroll through a dewy meadow without stopping to pounce on cute Bambi-esque fawns.
