I saw a post that says LPLive needs artists. What about a similar thread for THIS site? Where's the call to creativity here, if we want to go ahead with the face lift. Just thought that this place should take precedence over other sites really, seeing as how we were all super-psyched at some point to breathe new life here and boost numbers, etc.

Just annoys me that this site is being used as a launching pad of sorts or whatever you want to call it to assist other sites and yet it's being neglected. Just because some don't care doesn't mean it's universal. Some of us still do. We are still getting new people registering every day, obviously they think it's worth joining for whatever reason.
And for all the talk about things taking time and being a slow process, I get that, I do, especially when there are others that have to literally work their magic and they aren't here that often, BUT some of us are still waiting for something. Anything. Even rumour at this point would be good providing it was consistent.
What are we, kids fending for ourselves while the grownups go away and play or something?
Anyone think of trying to get LPF put there, this LPLfansite? Is there a way? What's the protcol? Come on we had this conversation ages ago, if most of us came to this site via accident or Google, then the idea is to get the word out too, not relegate it to the too hard basket.

i agree with you...you have good ideas...but see with graphic work especially things are different we need coredump to be active on this one...which isnt likely...because he has to work on putting the gfx stuff up

no i agree ravy, i also care about lpf, a lot... but the only reason we are in the background is because we dont have an active owner. Looking at LPP, they have a very active owner who has amny contacts in the LP community. Thus they are already as big as us and they are very new. Active owners makes a site. Thats just the way it is

I own LPLive and run it. I will try to get LPF up on the banner at the top, no problem. I'll work on it in the next version that's coming soon, which will have a lot of cool features.

Didn't necessarily mean to come across so hostile, I just get frustrated, as am sure many of you do (especially mods, when you are copping it from us about changes and have nowhere to really get answers) but when I see words like 'no one cares about LPF' I just get defensive. And I know no one, especially us as members, can really do anything about it either.
It's just sitting around and waiting and seeing nothing happen after the promises of long awaited changes or something, sort of feels like a politician's promise, you know?
I know, be patient, be patient...
