Well I have to say I did not see a #1 team in their play this weekend from any of the top contenders for college football. Fumbles, dropped passes, sloppy tackles, broken plays, bad attitudes and just an overall air of not caring enough to execute plays properly. You would think they all wanted to end up playing for the Vikings or something, lol.

Forgive me Ali ;)

I really thought they should leave the #1 spot blank on the polls as a hint to these teams to get their **** together.

Texas, Alabama, and Florida all played like ****, but at least they won their games....but it seemed most of the ranked teams had their problems this weekend. I hope things settle down.

I was glad that Virginia Tech got beat even if it was at the hands of my in-state rivals, Georgia Tech.

Ohh... and that Arkansas QB Mallett will be a handful once he gets some control and accuracy down. Next season will prove he's got sand.

I agree, he should be a monster next year.

I'm going to have to say that Arkansas would have won that game if they didn't have to play both the Gators and the Zebras.

The SEC took action against that team and suspended them. The call on Sheppard in the Gator game even I had to say was BS. I don't think that would have changed the outcome though, time and again Tebo always finds a way to win and even with 4 back breaking turnovers they still won.

There are not many teams out there who could still win after 4 turnovers like that.

But I still say the number 1 spot in the ranking should have been blank this week to make a statement to all the teams that they need to get more professional, things were horrible this past weekend.

Ohio lost to Purdue?

Texas tried to lose their game too, I really hope they all get their act together this weekend.

where was this outrage when LSU and the officials tried to and succeeded in stealing that **** game from UGA? Or when Tennessee didn't get called with any penalties after meeting in the field for a whole team celebration (where they were attempting to draw a penalty and failed)? I hate the refs, it's something you learn when you are a Dawg fan.

bastids.

I hope not!

I like to see top teams get knocked off by low ranked or outranked schools! My mind keeps reverting back to that Appalachian State victory over Michigan and the streak South Florida went on in the same season. I recall thinking to myself, "****, man! I'm pulling for a Florida team? WTF?".

My boys were defeated today.

At least it was my boyfriend, Ben Roethlisberger's team who did it.

Ohhh, and I was hungover as *** when I watched the beat down so that only added insult to injury. :(

Hooray for the Vikings!

Despite the initial booing at Lambeau, and an attempted resurgence by the Pack in the 2nd half, my boys won! :D

It was a good game.

Sounded like a good game. I was listening to the 3rd quarter as much as I could. I was driving back from taking my kids back to their mother's house and lost signal about the time that GB came back within 4.

By time I got home I found out the Vikes scored another TD and won.

On a side note. I heard my Rams actually won today. Those bastards better not blow the first pick in the draft again like they did last year to Detroit.

I had to boo the fans.

Fans are fickle and do not completely grasp the reason Brett left Green Bay.

Yes, they acted a bit like a woman scorned.

Fans are emotional. I can see why they feel betrayed, I guess, but yes....a job is a job.
