food is well food.. I am not into fish tacos but i am sure they will have something i will eat.. (bad experience just not going to go there anymore..lol)

I think we all should have some idea of the whole track but i am cool with teams that ride together.. keep in mind when i pre run i only run about 20-30% of my skill, I am always looking for the "fast track" or alternative routs, Granted i do not think we are going to have any 30 ft vertical climbs or log jams (

https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/5M6SVgRzMZE?feature=oembed ) (thats a drop water tree pinch water hill climb all in one spot with a alternative rout if you go down the hill and back up the other side that no one could see but me and one other rider)

I have a few 5 gallon gas cans (red ones) thats all i have ever used.. I will bring them and might get some msr bottles to strap to the bike for backup gas

I am going to put my back shock on in the next few days and take the bike to my shock guy to get it setup, then try to ride this weekend.. I still need to fix my slippy clutch, but other then that the bike will be good to go..oh I got some red led strip lights i am going to put on the back of the bike and white ones for the front. not so much to see with but to be seen. (all lights are striped off my bike )

I do have to run to houston on the first to pickup a spot tracker that i will have with me all the time, other than that i am going to be around the house cleaning up from last week.

glad to have you alive and well Chirs, LOL...

and good idea for the personal tracker...

and yea probably we want to run as 20-30% for prerunning. we just want to know the track... and will be riding for long periods of time since we need to prerun the entire 500 miles in 2 days. and it would be nice if we do it twice..

Thanks man!! I hope I can do well. After the Baja I am hoping to do a few more races.

Next year I am really going to try to do a race in Puerto Penasco. I have been down there a few times and loved it. I've heard the races are amazing. Would you be interested in doing a race there with me? Not as a team but solo.

Next year im open for everything. The problem is that the "league" that does races there is www.racesadr.com and they mostly do cars and utvs. Their bike/quad turnout is low so they rarely include them.

One u migth want to try is www.arizonaoffroadpromotions.com

They have great races and not expensive..

If not the one i do in Rosarito in July is really good..

Yeah I follow Arizona Off road Promotions on FB. Their races are similar to the NHHA races I do here. Most entry fees here are $60. I think you guys should come do the WORCS race at Sand Hollow. Last year was the first time there and it was sweet. They are planing on have 3 different courses and got approval to do some grading on the land. Just about the entire race is through the dunes and the turn out is huge. Last year we had 3 rows of racers in my class. It was by far my favorite race last year.

I would be interested in one of the Mexico races. We'll have to see how the year goes and how much I can put aside for travel and race.

I want to start leaving the state and going other places to race(NM sucks for atv racing) and the local Baja races aren't that expensive 2-3 riders with like 600 each its more than sufficient..

definitely 2015 can be a year to start racing together..

Mamito!! A while back you had mentioned to us that we may be getting a clothing sponsorship and getting some shirts and shorts made. have you heard anything else on that??

The reason I ask is cause I was offered a clothing sponsorship last night. The company is REKD life clothing. He is just starting out and is very small. Of course he wants to grow larger and is using the racing community to do so. I am in discussion with him about getting some clothes made for our Baja trip.

I thinks this is a great opportunity for him to get more exposure and would be great for us too.

Would all you guys be open to see what he has to offer??

I think we could personalize the clothes however we wanted. More to come...

I am going to drawn something up and send it to REKD life clothing. Do you guys have a preference as far as shirts? Polo, button, regular t-shirt? I am all for being simple and would be happy with a regular T-shirt.

I was thinking something along the lines of having the Baja 500 logo on the upper right side and maybe a quad under the logo.

On the back we can put our last name across the top. Maybe our race number in the middle and our sponsor along the middle bottom in 2 rows.

We could add something to the sleeve too.

Input??

this is what Aaron replied.

Hey Waldy,

Sorry bro, I've been so busy with mountain of work, that we haven't gotten a chance to work on the Motocross jerseys. I have the vented crew shirts ready to go, so that's not a problem.

I have to find some time in January to finish developing those jerseys as everyone is asking for them. I think we should have them figured out by the end of January, so I'll keep you posted.

Thanks buddy! Have a happy & healthy Holiday season with the family.

-Aaron

so keep us posted on what that company can offer us and ill keep checking on my side and we'll go with the best bang for the buck...

im down for anything but I do like the clothes of the Aaron shop in NY... I do like that you can have shorts and shirts combined..

and I do say a crew shirt for the riders and tshirts for the chasers...

price might be also a factor. because I need like 12-15 tshirts.. plus my personal ones..

Sounds good man. I did draw up a rough draft on a red short sleeve T-shirt.

Right sleeve: Zorros Race Team with an American flag

Left sleeve: Zorros Race Team with an Puerto Rico flag

Front left: Baja 500 2014

Front right: picture of a quad

On the back top: Last name

back middle: Race number

back bottom: Sponsors

Pretty basic with nothing crazy. I will try to email it out to you guys tonight. I am off to work right now.
