OK so it was fun to see how many spammers and members with >10 posts we have :>

ok so this is what my story is:

our admins arnt active post wise but they do their job by being here so good job there

our mods are the same but we have active mods like hailey who are also awesome to talk to

so good job there mods!!!!

now fo the alite as you can see there are ALOT of them, and many of em join every now and then to make a odd post and some are lost and some are active

this was just something i wanted to do

and it was fun

why dont they get rid of the elite system bc i mean they're not mods, so whats the point of them even being here? its unfair to other member that they get all these privaliges just because they're bumchums of people at the top.

Honestly, in my opinion, i think the members who are Green, or any member for that fact, should have their accounts deactivated after a certain amount of time. That way we can keep the number of Elites and stuff down, and members who dont do anything for like a year shouldn't be allowed to keep their account.

Exactly. I was on here a year or so before I became Elite, and that was only after i proved how good of posts i put up and things like that. If you join then suddenly say I WANT TO BE ELITE!!!! It wont happen. We have to see how helpful you are on the forums and things like that

I only said Deactivate them as an "For Instance". Demoted them could be just as useful.

IT has created problems in the past and is boung to create problems in the future.. and, the fact is, it has been along time since we have even promoted any one to the elite status.. and even if you do get promoted to such a thing it takes awhile. I don't like the elite system, and it is not needed.. But, we do need to either update it, or get ride of it..

And my .2 dollars are that any class distinction beyond staff vs. regular members is more than unnecessary. Not to mention how a few elites, whose names I won't mention, have taken their status as a pedestal and talked down to other members.

I personal think the Elite system is pointless. Mainly because I don't really think its monitored on how often the "elites" are on (which if it is kept it should be). I don't really think the "Extra benefits" are really that great. But it doesn't bother me.

I think the usernames colors just go by me. I think every single person on here carries their own personality with their username. I have my impressions on what kind of a person this is, and what kind of a view this person has, and just the general personality this person has. I think it's within the username, not the color of the username that carries the respect that you do.

If I could regain full control over this site, the Elites would be just one of the things I would fix. Everyone needs to fight for me to get sole control over this site. I would make this place a great site once again!

 

 

I will see what I can do though. I will take a few days and promote a few select new members to Elite status and filter out those elites that are no more.

How do you suggest that we make coredump give it back to you?

Maybe we could start a "return LPF to Atlien" thread and then maybe get an interent petition? or bombard coredump with PM (the PM could be rude though) to try and persaude him to give back LPF.

 

But if you return why dont you just scrap the elite system and let everyone in on the changing SN and becoming invisable, think of all the arguements it would stop and all the threads of people going .'OmG I WAnt tO Be LieK GrEEn'.

 

If there absolutly HAD to be some form of elite system, god forbid, it should only be when people have passed a certain amount of posts like the 1,000 mark, 500 mark, something like that.
