Because I think UnhingedMouse0 is not able to do that. I believe he can do that. Granting mod status is a matter of changing the primary usergroup in user options. Admins can do it. LPF @ Myspace

I'm not really sure about it...but you could be right and nothing against the admins on here... but no one of them is really active... the only one you see is Umo

Yeah Vash at least made a thread saying that he's gone..so I think that is final. And of course ATLien and Qwest should keep their status because without them we probably wouldn't be here discussing this. And about that admin thing... I would be up for that...I mean I really care about the site..so it would really be an honor for me.

GraDoN Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 well... some mods also seem gone and yeah that, but the time frame is up to you.... but some just 'pop' in every 6 months for a "hey guys long time no see, you might not remember me blah blah.. gone" so its rather tough, o well i guess its not that important, new recruits might be more important since we need more elites,mods and admins, some members have been loyal and deserve elite status.... So if someone sees a problem starting, or what they wanted to know, is done they can just close it, and prevent spam? and how about always being able to edit your post? because after a certain amount of time, you can't. and for me, i get annoyed when i have to either double post, or can't update the first post? It is configured now to allow editing during 24 hours from initial posting. (even this is too much IMHO). So you have 24 hours to correct mistakes you might find or change your mind about something. This way the "edit" function serves it's purpose. If you come back a week or a month later to edit your original post you just confuse people. In this case you better double-post. LPF @ Myspace

I dont really see why you would need to close your own threads. If you REALLY need it done just PM one of the the staff or report the first post and say why you think the thread needs closing and we will take care of it. This is not really a common enough problem to be adressed. As far as editing your posts, you should be able to do that for up to 24 hours... after which point I dont really know why you would want to edit it. Maybe we could make that longer, but thats up to core whether he wants to do that or not. [ R.I.P. LPF ]

I was starting an LPF clan, and i had intentions of updating the first thread every time someone joined etc etc...but than i remembered i couldn't edit back my first post...so in the end, it became a pain in the ass to take care of, that's the only reason I asked The Park is Back? No way!
