2 things regarding this quote: #1- if this woman feels that way about a pregnancy, then the kid is prolly better off dead than being raised by her. What a horrible outlook on the beginning of a life. #2- an animal gets caught unsuspectingly in a trap. They are hidden. Pretty sure most women of child bearing age (at least in this country) have an understanding of how it is that one gets pregnant. Since over 98% of abortions are simply used as a post-conception birth control- maybe there are better alternatives than ending a life.

McCain will do better here with Palin in his corner. McCain ain't as popular round these parts as he was pre-presidential run, and he is facing some stiff competition for his seat for the first time in a long time. Alot of Arizona conservatives are balking at voting for McCain this go around after how he shifted his views and stances while running for Pres.

a guy called into one of the local morning talk shows this morning said how glad he was that this passed and then said: "And I praise Mrs Giffords (AZ Congresswoman) for taking a stand and voting for this when it was hard and will likely cause her to lose her seat in November." Now, if the voters are gonna vote her out of office in November for her voting for this one bill- then don't you think that the majority of those people (whom she represents) in the state that she represents didn't want this to pass- so maybe she shouldn't have voted for it??? Somebody said "A little bit of freedom dies today." She's right. dang it...

put the XP disk back in with Windows up & running and when the cd menu pops up, click on "Add more windows features" (or something similar) It will run a little scan to see what is already installed, and then it will pop up a menu of more features you can add. One of them is Networking. Add it (and I recommend going ahead and adding all of the features that aren't already installed) and then reboot and if your LAN connection is connected, it should see it on the reboot. I had to do this on the computer I was working on last week.

I'd wipe it clean anyway. Bender is better at this than I am, but there is no sense in keeping a bunch of stuff you don't need on the computer on there.

I'm not really sure McCain would have made all that many decisions different than what Obama has done. and we all saw the restraint he put on Palin during the campaign. as of now, the man doesn't even have my support for reelection for state senator. I am just not impressed on how he flops around like a dying fish depending on where he thinks he can get the most votes... I will also add that I do not think a vote for Bob Barr or Ron Paul equates to a vote for Obama. Sure those votes could have been used to help McCain win, but at some point we have got to stand up to the crappy candidates that both the Repubs and Dems are cranking out and say "Dammit, we want something better!" That's how I see the votes for Barr and Paul going. Each election cycle, more and more vote for someone other than the top two that are being shoved down our throats, and hopefully someday it will be enough to send a clearer message.

Viacom needs to yank it's head out of it's buttocks and realize all the free publicity that YouTube gives it. I have a few vid's on YouTube where I have used background music and Viacom has made YouTube turn off the music because of copyright infringement. granted, I did not have permission from Viacom to use those songs, but I am not hurting them in any way by using them, and I am telling the viewers who sings the songs and the titles of the songs. I am definitely helping Viacom more than I am hurting them by using their songs.
