  1. ask Mick Jagger...
  2. I just thought Chicken actually tasted like everything else...
  3. What's the purpose of ear hair?
  4. Both excellent points, and spot on.
  5. This makes no sense in this discussion. Are you saying that abortion is ok with God? that it is ok for us to end an innocent life that He created? If so, then I cannot buy that. you have got to be kidding me... slaps forehead for getting involved with webDressing I don't even know how to reply as that was seriously the stupidest rebuttal I have ever read.
  6. exactly. I totally concur timesjoke.
  7. Have you read the thread? Many of your "facts" (and I use the term loosely in regards to you) have already been addressed or shown. It's nice that you want to participate in this heated topic, but it's probably a good idea to get caught up first... Did you read the verse you posted? How it said that God spoke? How the words that came from God were inside the quotation marks? Do you remember saying this: If you are going to throw the word of God around to try to use it as a weapon in such a way, then it immediately acknowledges- for the purpose of this discussion- that He exists. Based on that, your quote is God speaking, and it being recorded as such. That is exactly what I am suggesting, and have said flat out many times in here. Again, thanks for participating, but getting yourself caught up first is a great idea. Your fact quotient is rather low. You are full of talk, but unfortunately don't seem to have a lot to back it up with. Your low-brow attacks are getting, and are no replacement for decent discussion. (theme song from Jeopardy? Come on...) carry on as you see fit. I see this topic moving from a decent discussion into more of a flame thread, and I want no part of that. I hope I am wrong.
  8. Why is it then that women don't get pregnant every single time they have unprotected sex? How come some women get pregnant even when they take precautions? My Short answer: God is in more control than we are. The examples you quoted to me were God calling for the action: Since you quoted the Bible, I answered with the understanding that God said that. If you wish to debate religion, or God, perhaps a different thread is in order. However, current use of Abortion is exactly as you said: mankind (in the US) is calling for the death of over 1.2 million babies ever year. the majority of them strictly for the lack of convenience that a baby will bring. Many of them without proper care and consideration for the long term effects on the mother.
  9. That is a completely bogus argument. Since God is the one who created the life, God then has the right to call for the end of said life. It's when we, as a race of people, decide that out of our inconvenience it is ok to end a life that God started that we become "arrogant."
  10. don't like it? Better yourself and get a better job.
  11. Then blame voters for continually increasing the minimum wage. bastards...
  12. Why should the race of the baby matter? Is it ok to kill black babies, but not white ones? I really don't understand what you are getting at there. and are you implying that downs syndrome babies aren't worth loving or a given chance at life? My stance- God created the life. Some loser may have forced her to have sex, but God made the baby, and as such- it deserves to live. Keeping it, and raising it is an option, as is adoption. as Brotehrman said- both are better than killing a defenseless baby.
  13. only if you equate success and happiness with money. I have worked my whole adult life. I have friends whose parents were loaded and got everything handed to them. I value my job, my possessions, my home, my life- because I have worked for it and have earned it. I could easily go out tomorrow and get a higher paying job. But would the hours be flexible enough so I can continue my extra-curricular activities? Probably not. as wez likes to say: Worry about yourself first. Make yourself happy. If the job you are doing doesn't do that, then find another job. My job is secure, my bills are paid each month on time, I have money in savings. Recession? Nah, I'm good. (however, this .75 drop in the home equity line of credit interest will come in handy!)
  14. Cool! It would get my brithday away from Christmas! Better presents for me!!!! I agree Brotherman. Force her is a bit strong of terminology, but hopefully I would be with a woman who shares my same basic views, and she would understand that sex doesn't create life- God does.
  15. A week after playing the race card like Bill did last week? I. Don't. think. So. No matter how many hours were spent burning both ends of the candle, or cigar as the case may be...
  16. Didn't he get a sex change and become police chief of Miami? LACES OUT!!! aww dangit, Snaf beat me to it.
  17. NEVER!!!!! I will agree that the competition is tougher nowadays, and more wins is better, but I don't think it "washes" the 72 Dolphins. (of course, I could be biased. ) It's true that they didn't have "330 pound 6'6 athletes that could run like a cheetah in 1972" but neither did anyone else. Going a season without a loss is impressive no matter who you are. But, Mercury Morris was on EPSN this morning spouting off, and making no sense at all. I agree that he needs to shut his yap. Frankly, I am just glad that the NFL has teams like the Pats who win the majority of their games. If gives them credibility over sports like baseball where it is common for a team to barely break .500 for the season and easily make the playoffs.
  18. You're not very bright, are you?
  19. it wouldn't matter how easy you made it, lol. I completely suck at remembering the right lyrics. When I am singing along (which I do very badly, I might add) I can have the lyrics right in front of me and still get them wrong. lol
  20. Blah blah blah, whatever you say wez. Mirror time maybe? anyway- Moving on now... On the way home from work yesterday, I was listening to Bill O'Rielly. He had a caller that was upset that Obama keeps being listed as "a black candidate" when in reality he is only half black. To be fair to Obama, I have never heard him refer to himself as a "black candidate," I have only heard that phrase from the media. Do you think the media is consciously trying to move the vote his direction by referring to him as "black"? Should his racial heritage be an issue? Should we be focused on possibly "electing the first black president"? Are some people gonna vote for him to avoid being labeled a racist for not voting for him?
  21. lol, I could never win at this. I am CONSTANTLY singing the wrong words to songs.
  22. gee, I was pretty combative with hugo on that first post in this thread too. Better rip me a new one for it as well... oh, and there was the comment about how I hate the Patriots. That one was completely biased and unnecessary. Best get busy. ohh, and I bashed psychics as well... Hell, I even accused IWS of bribery! oh noooosss!!!!!111111oneoneone... well, as long as we understand each other. You are most likely right that my comments towards wez were "combative," but it isn't like that has only been directed at him. It is part of how my humor presents itself. always has been. I apologize if you think I was attacking him, as I wasn't. Maybe my lack of name calling and/or cursing could have been a hint?
  23. I took his "well said" to mean he agreed. He clarified, and all is good. I'm sorry, but I just have to LOL at this- as it is so obvious that all of my replies all over the extreme business of this board are all wez related... Best be careful- Wez don't like people sticking up for each other. he calls it asslicking.
  24. I completely agree.
  25. Well said.. an apology wouldn't hurt either. So which is it wez? Do you want all the soldiers home, or do you want us (and our money) there helping to rebuild Iraq? Because you just said both. Is your last name "Kerry"?
