Hmmmm... would explain a lot of what my eyes see. Plus, these people have kept the power in their families and little circles for many generations .. They recognize no borders and have no loyalty to any country or government. They think they are above that. Why would they stop now, even if it doesn't come to fruition before they die? Maybe they wanna be remembered by their bloodlines as the hero's who handed them the Earth on a silver platter? Maybe they're feverishly working on ways to prolong life their lives..
