I agree with that Tori.. I know I did not long ago.. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I never went to church or had any religious training in my life. I defined Christians by the multitudes of hypocrites I'd see walking through the church doors every Sunday and spending the rest of their lives lying, cheating, manipulating and acting the opposite of what they claimed to believe.. It's not Jesus's fault that so many hide behind His name.. I no longer see it that way.. One does not need to ever step foot in a church to be a "Christian" despite popular belief.. that's for the hypocrites to be seen by men...

That's the funny thing, Jesus would not claim to be any "better" than David Koresh, or anyone else. Christians have put him on a pedistal. The last place He'd want to be.. He hung with homeless, prostitutes, lepers, and the suffering.. the same people most "Christians" would turn their nose up at, ignore, and exploit.. Way to be. Jesus would be pissed at who claimed ownership to His name and legacy, and how they twist His words to control and scare people. The truth doesn't need to rely on peoples fear and has no need to control anyone or anything. If any idea or concept needs to be advanced and maintained through fear, threats, and manipulation, it's a lie and doomed to die.

I don't know if I'd use the word stable.. The thing is, it's getting worse, not better. Looks are deceiving. Even if one has a nice house and a fancy car, what are those folks gonna do when no one will borrow them any more money? I think we're about to find out... check the stats on forclosures and bankruptcies.. Debt is not wealth. Back when I was young, a guy could quit school, get a job at a gas station and provide a modest but comfortable life for his family. 30 years later, things have surely improved, right? Yeah, right... Now, that same guy can't pay for a piece of crap apartment and rust bucket car on that gas station salary, which are the very types of jobs being created in this so called economy.. Things were much more realistic in the past. Things cost what they should in relation to the wages people earned. Now things cost what they do in relation to how many payments and how much money someone is willing to borrow you for the rest of your natural life.. then the credit stops, and people crumble. Things should be really interesting a few years after the last babyboomers retire... s hit will hit the fan...

Actually, I think the bible is full of truth as it was ancient mans way of trying to explain their existence as they best could. They didn't try to make a book for people to twist for 2000 years. Hell, Jesus never wrote down a word, yet, what He said was truth as he could best explain it, and I think it was preserved well. Things about our nature as human beings, and understanding who we are in life, not death. How we should be in life, not death. Why has death and the "afterlife" become the focus of Christianity? It's the opposite of what Jesus spoke about.. I don't believe the stories of the resurrection either, nor do I believe anything said that defies logic or the laws of physics such as creating a ton of food for many people from a couple fish and loafs of bread. The beauty is in his words, not the tall tales of omnipotent power by a genius of a man. Son of God.. Aren't we all the Son of God? Isn't that basically what Jesus was trying to get through everyones thick skull? Love your nieghbor as you love yourself. Forgive others as you would be forgiven. Judge others as you will be judged. We are all the same and equal in anything and everything that means anything. You have no real power over me than that which I give you .. I come from the father and I tell the truth. And like truth tellers throughout history who refuse to shut up, He was killed for it..

The way I see it, atheism is'nt really a belief system.. To not believe what someone else believes is not really a belief system.. more a non-belief. Christianity would exist without atheism.. it's a belief. Atheism wouldn't exist if Christians didn't believe as they do.. it's a non-belief. Why waste ones time not believing in something someone else believes? What I want to know is, what do atheists believe? They seem kinda like parasites, feeding off someone elses beliefs.. What do atheists believe? Everyone already knows what they don't believe.. The truth is the truth and it will never change no matter what people think/say/do. So no need to seperate and hate.. Atheist = Christian and vice versa.. hahahaha.. People are funny.. what we think = dog crap, unless what we think and know to be 100% true is that every human that ever existed has the same truth. The best part of knowing that, I don't need one other person on the face of this Earth to validate it for me and I know it to be true no matter what people think/say/do. That bit of truth, I've encountered from many an experience, is quite hard for Christians to admit for some reason.. I wonder why?

After all, is'nt "God" the representation behind the creation of life and applies to every human ever to exist? So, to deny "God", is to deny ones own existence.. Good luck with that.. Truth is simple and plain for everyone to see.. so why all the hostilities over the course of humankind in the name of creation by the very people who claim to know and understand the "absolute truth" Why the need to gather in mass and exert force physically, politically, and manipulatively to further the truth? Perhaps that's what happens when it aint truth and people need other people to validate it whether they want to or not so they can lie to themselves in comfort and believe they're better than someone else in a profound way and be ok with them being killed, suppressed, enslaved, tortured, controlled, etc... People know the truth when they hear it cause it applies to every human that will ever have existed. Truth doesn't have anything to do with fear, money, and property, but non truth does. Perhaps the truth gets in the way of some peoples agenda/not truth and they'd rather people just shut up and disappear, as if that would make them right and what they claim true. Not to mention it's the exact opposite of what Jesus teaches.. Love your enemy has become kill your enemy? Who's the real enemy? Oneself... eddo ( remember my 1st day at tat?) Indeed... the cardiovascular system is too perfect.. The way individual cells in our body function together is beyond comprehension. How they form tissues, and organs to make up a human organism.. quite beautiful and too perfect.. And you also hit on the critical point of knowing/not knowing.. The very first "life".. the beginning. If life always comes from life, as we understand that to be true, and has been proven, therein lies the big mystery.. the "creation". It happened, that's all I need to know..

Things do seem too perfect to be a fluke accident, but that's just it, mortal men a thousand religions over claim to understand exactly what "God" wants them to force everyone but themselves to do. If people were ok understanding it as far as it was meant to be understood and stopped trying to own the truth and use it as a tool to contol people, we'd be a lot better off. There is only one true religion.. the actual truth. I don't need to know it any farther than humanly possible to understand.. it is what it is in life and death. Knowing it's the same for every individual no matter what I or they say is what I think is important. To claim to know post death through eternity and kill people to prove it is about insane as insane gets.. Perhaps death will be just like before you born, nothingness... Nirvana. Perhaps you get a number a virgins for killing infidels.. Women must not be included in this afterlife paradise.. cept for the virgins.. Poor them Perhaps there's a Heaven and Hell for those who know Jesus.. Poor Amazon tribes cut off from civilization are doomed.. Perhaps all the wicked will suffer for all eternity in flames, satisfying our thirst for revenge.. Perhaps it will be what it's meant to be, and me not knowing is ok as long as I understand and know with 100% certainty that it will be the same for every human that ever will have existed no matter what it is, and act accordingly.

The fact is, whatever caused life is the same truth/God for every human being that has ever existed or will ever exist. So, being that's a fact, there is a 0% chance of any more than 1 of the worlds "religions" being totally correct in their beliefs. There is a good chance that not 1 is totally correct and all could be wrong, which to me seems most logical. Furthermore, the fact that there is only one truth/God/whatever caused life, what people say, means squat. It changes nothing. No matter how many people believe it or how many people get killed to prove it, it will forever remain the same for all eternity. So, people should face the facts and realize that every individual person on the entire planet share the same beginning and end and we need to act accordingly.
