You make some excellent points.. I think oil pegged to the greenback is soon going to switch too.. After rates were lowered, Saudi Arabia, whose currency is pegged to the dollar, did not follow suit. Seems they may change that like Kuwait did not long ago. Why our government doesn't care is what I can't figure out.. I know why, but it's time to bite the bullet and actually work and produce things for our money like normal people instead of selling them our debt and ripping them off. Not the best way to make friends and people only stay scared so long. I'm gonna vote Tony Soprano next year... For me personally, I'm quite pissed the fed again steps in and lowers rates to throw a bone to all those great folks who feel it's their God given right to spend more than they make. I've been a saver my entire adult life and have got nothing for my efforts but rapidly decreasing value of my dollars. Despite earning 9%, I can't even tread water.. Although stupid, how can you convict a person of manslaughter for what a dog does? Great topic.. I think in certain fundamental ways, we are all equal. Right to life, right to what humans need to survive, right to be what we want to be. The only things that make us unequal are all man made. There is no equality in man made. Money (power) being the overall driving force. I guess I can see a day when money as we know it ceases to exist. If not, our species will cease to exist long before natural reasons would exterminate us. It shouldn't be the end all be all of life.. it's not good for humans to put all their thoughts and energy into something so fleeting as money. Man was not meant to rule other men, IMO. Plus, death is enevitable. There's got to be a better way to live. Things should be getting better, not worse.

Good luck! I was in pre law in the early ninties but dropped out after rupturing a disc in my back.. Now, I'm working my way into nursing school. Getting close.. So damn competitive to get into the major. Only 40 spots for 160+ applicants. I would still love to go to law school too.. but not earn a living at it. I had a little problem with the truth twisting too.. Sounds brutal.. but I imagine the way the professor does that is intended to teach you that as a lawyer, always expect the unexpected..know both sides and all angles.. Be prepared to answer any question at any time... I hope you have a lot of time to study. Just remember, you're competing with every other student in there... know the shit better than them, you're golden.
