Sorry I missed your b-day Joe, I am glad you were able to relax and get away from things, I have moved away from the internet world a lot more myself and find it very nice sometimes. Getting older is difficult to accept sometimes though, I just had to resort to getting reading glasses, that made me feel older and the new grandson is a blessing but his arrival also makes me feel older, lol. When some wacko decides to go off the deep end, many times they do take out members of their own family or loved ones. Last week the EPA revoked a permit for a coal mining operation in West Virginia it had previously approved back in 2007. After getting their approval the coal company has spent millions of dollars preparing to get this coal and just when they can start actually getting that coal and making money off their investment, the EPA pulls the rug out from under them and takes away the permit. This is why business is scared to death to invest, at any time Obama and his Government can change the rules and cost them millions of dollars so sometimes it is better to not invest and protect their money while you have such a radical in office. Business one set of rules that don't change from day to day so they can plan and execute their desire to make money. In many cases it takes years to go from the planning stage to final stages of new big investments like this and after all that time and money has gone by, changing the rules and costing business millions of dollars is not a pretty sight.

Today they are running out of money because people are living way, way longer than they used to and taking out many times what they paid in and in larger numbers. At the least we must severely increase the retirement age to give these programs a small chance at staying solvant. The problem is, you socialists don't understand basic economics, the system can't work without everyone paying in. If your socialist system is limited to just those of you who want it, there will not be any money in the pool to draw from. Remember, most people who share your political leanings don't currently pay any federal taxes now, they draw out massive amounts of aid from the Federal Government but pay nothing in.

The reason why he did not come back is the only thing in question, he took aff because he can't stand not winning. Again, volunteer all of your own money you want Ben-der but don't force me to feed the Government monster for socialist programs only you believe can do good. Most of the money the Government takes is wasted on the buracracy and never makes it to the people the people the program is intended to help in the first place. You did see where I told you that you can write a check to the Government any time you want to didn't you? If you Progressives believe so strongly that you should pay higher taxes, then why not just do it? Why do you need everyone else who do not agree with you to be forced to pay more before you pay more? Lead by example -Phreakwars-... Um, this free healthcare legislation we are talking about is one example, please try to keep up. Of course you do, because you envy those with more than you, that is one of the two reasons people embrace the progressives. Either compromise is good for both sides or it is bad for both sides, you can't have it both ways and even trying to have it both ways shows a severe trend to the immature.

Actually you socialists stole the name progressive to try and use it as a disguise (BTW my name is TJ and I suck coxs).. We do need progress, and the best method to push progress is to let people find success on their own, the ability to make money off their hard work has brought every big advancment to society you can mention. Never watched the show, saw some pieces of it though on other shows talking about a tirade one of them went on and that was enough to keep me away. The main problem with the "media liberals" is they have no real connection to reality. I have many liberal friends who are in the business community and have their liberal beliefs tempered with the reality of the way things work. Even they agree we need to control our borders and spend only the money we have and stop borrowing money and printing money to cause massive inflation. The kinds of liberals who can't at least agree on those two points are simply idiots in my opinion.

Now let's get back to the topic of the thread, I asked B e n d e r a couple questions about his claim that Obama has switched parties and he has once again dodged them so let me try again: B e n d e r, you have claimed in the past that Republicans were the party of "no" because they would not get behind Obama's pure socialist legislation, so let me ask you this, if they had voted in support of Obamacare, would they have been transformed into Democrats? So in turn, you must be saying the Republicans did the right thing to stick by their principles and not support Obamacare because that would have made them sellouts and forced them to become Democrats instead of Republicans.......... You can't have it both ways B e n d e r.....if you believe it is reasonable to ask Republicans to compromise, then why do you see Obama as a traitor to compromise? Both sides gave up things they wanted and got things they did want, they set aside their political partisan attitudes and met somewhere in the middle. That is what Obama promised the American people when he ran for the office, and that is what the American people expect. I would have personally wanted the Republicans to ask for more, but in the end I believe it was the best deal that could be made considering the alternatives and the short time at their disposal.

I want the Federal Government to only do what they are supposed to do based on the Constitution. You Progressives want to ignore the Constitution and transform America into a socialist Country. Just wanting to give people free healthcare is socialist B e n d e r. Why do you believe anyone should get anything for free just because they are standing in America? Charity is only accomplished by choice, not by force. Nobody is keeping you from helping other people, it is your choice, but trying to force other people to do as you command is not Christian. Great, nothing wrong with you volunterring yourself to pay more taxes, did you know you can write a check to the Government any time you want as a gift? My problem is where you volunteer "other people" to pay higher taxes. Who owns the money I make B e n d e r? Does all money belong to the Federal Government first in your mind? If a person considers money earned as belonging to the person who earned it, then it stands as logical for the person who earned the money to be concerned how much is taken away by force and then how that money is spent.

The mandate was not writen by the Republicans. Republicans had nothing to do with any major part of that legislation. That is why they did not vote for it, they were shut out of every meeting, it was nothing but Obama and Democrats in the closed door meetings.

You progressives were making a lot of excuses for Obama not that long ago, you even defended his increasing taxes after promising not to B e n d e r.. You were the blind follower up to the day Obama announced meeting Republicans part way on the tax deal.

Many newspapers refused to report on the leaked emails of scientists that proved they were "cooking the books" on man caused global warming because they said it was wrong to use stolen or hacked information in legitimate news, one of those outlets was the new york times. But the same new york times has printed some of the info from wikileaks, so how do they justify that? The concept of real journalism is seen only when those issuing it are not trying to push a specific agenda. The new york times has a vested interest in pushing the man caused globam warming concept so they make a choice to never post stories that hurt that idea. They on the other hand want to tear down America so they will take any chance to write stories like that. This idiot is even more focused, his main stated goal is to make Governments, especially America, look bad. That is all he sees and his only agenda so he is not a journalist, he is an activist at the least and possibly even a terrorist but certainly he encourages other pwoplw to steal this information if he does not steal it himself so that makes him an accomplice to the crimes to steal this information.
