1. He tells everyone to use a lot less less than they do now.
2. He uses far more than the people he tells to use less, and
his use continues to increase.
3. This not hypocrisy because his heart is in the right place
and he can spend a lot of money.

Is this a correct summary of your position on the issue?

But he pays carbon credits! Doesn't that get him off the hook?

Why do this remind me of the dark ages when rich patrons bought their
way into Heaven by giving donations to the Pope?

What this boils down to Gore is wealthy, so he's willing to sacrafice
a little money, but not his personal comfort. REAL sacrafice is for
the little people, not the great and powerful Gore!!!!!! It still
boils down to Gore flying in a person jet, while he demands hundreds
of milliions of Americans to stand in the rain waiting for a bus.

While Jim E, a good union man, firmly lives the life he believes in. Well,
not actually. Jimbo is a union member with all the high wages and benefits
that flow from union membership. However Jimbo won't get out, heck no!
Jimbo's a hypocrit. He'll stay a union man until he needs another job.

There you go - if something is inconvenient, you
can dismiss it by seeing it on a "right wing political
web site". Isn't that all nice and comfy? Makes the
whole world all simple and easy to swallow.
