Lyin' Ike!
Two resurrections!
Resurrection is restoration from the fall:
1 Cor. 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are
spiritually discerned.
There are two resurrections:
John 5:28-29
Marvel not at this: for the time is coming, in the which all that are in
the graves shall hear his voice, [29] And shall come forth; they that have
done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto
the resurrection of judgment.
The first resurrection: "since by man came death, by man came also the
resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his coming" (1 Cor. 15:21-23).
Christ and His reigning with him are the first resurrection:
"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was
given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the
beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their
foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years (but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand
years were finished). This is the first resurrection" (Rev. 20:4-5).
The resurrection of judgment is the other resurrection at the end of the
millennium:
in which the circumcision is saved: The 144,000 firstfruits (Rev 14:3-4),
and the rest when the thousand years are finished.
See if you can get this right.
