Bible-Spouting Group Plans to Picket Amish Funerals

(CNSNews.com) - A Kansas-based group that says "God hates fags" plans
to picket the funerals of the Amish girls killed by a disturbed man in
Lancaster County, Pa.

The Westboro Baptist Church -- described as a hate group by the
Anti-Defamation League -- has made a name for itself by picketing the
funerals of U.S. troops killed in Iraq. The troops are dying as
punishment for America's tolerance of homosexuality, the group says.

The Westboro group says the Amish school girls were "killed by a madman
in punishment for Gov. Ed Rendell's blasphemous sins against Westboro
Baptist Church.

"Gov. Ed Rendell -- speaking and acting in his official capacity to
bind the State of Pennsylvania -- slandered and mocked and ridiculed
and condemned Westboro Baptist Church on national Fox TV," the group
says on its website.

"Rendell also revealed a conspiracy to employ the State's police powers
to destroy WBC in order to silence WBC's Gospel message.
Co-conspirators identified by Rendell included state officials,
citizens, lawyers, legislators and media," the website says.

Westboro Baptist Church said it is "continuing to pray for even worse
punishment upon Pennsylvania."

A number of states have passed laws to keep groups like Westboro away
from grieving families at funerals, but last month, a federal judge
ruled that a Kentucky law barring protests within 300 feet of military
funerals and memorial services is too broad and may not be enforced.

In other developments, the man who shot and killed five Amish
schoolgirls apparently planned to sexually abuse them first,
investigators said. But he apparently didn't get a chance: Charles Carl
Roberts IV killed himself when police arrived on the scene.

Suicide notes left by Roberts indicate he was dreaming of molesting
girls. He reportedly told his wife he had molested two young relatives
20 years ago - and wanted to do it again.

"It's very possible that he intended to victimize these children in
many ways prior to executing them and killing himself," State Police
Commissioner Jeffrey Miller said on Tuesday.

Roberts also indicated he was anguished over the death of a daughter
who died shortly after birth nine years ago. In his notes, he said he
was "filled with so much hate" and "unimaginable emptiness," but
everyone who knew him said they never saw signs of his psychological
distress.

Telling old Fred and Family that they are Scum just eggs them on they
treat it as a badge of honor that they are hated by everyone for
"Telling the Truth of Gods Word" That was a quote from the last e-mail
I got from them when I pointed out the utter hypocrisy of their
actions. They are not Christians and they do not want to be Christians
they are a Terrorist Organization and under the Patriot Act they should
be swooped up and sent off to Gitmo for the rest of their lives. You
think old George will do that?

of the reason why we have atheists. Other people see how those who
profess to be Christians act and then they say "There's no God".
There's a certain way Christians are to conduct themselves. Screaming
at those because they are homosexuals or whatever isn't the way. Now I
am not making any excuses for atheists nor other unbelievers but you
can see some logic in this (maybe not). I saw a comicstrip once of a
group of Christians, Nazis, other religious groups and they were
holding pickets signs that read "God Hate Fags", "Fags Are Going To
Hell" and "Remember Sodom and Gomorrah". Really this is very sad. When
I myself believe in God, am a Christian and don't conduct myself this
way and I hear people say things like "God isn't real" or "See how that
man/woman act and they are suppose to be a Christian", I understand why
and how the rest of the world don't believe those who profess to be
Christians.

bad, too, because homosexuality is a birth defect and the parents and
family members aren't responsible for it. However, to harass the
parents of these little girls is beyond disgusting. The Amish people
don't bother anyone, don't force their religion on other people, and
allow their children to leave their religion and live in the outside
world if they choose to. They are also incredibly forgiving.

Atheists have not been chosen.

BUT

That is not excuse for pretend Christians to act hateful.

AND

There is no excuse within Christianity for homosexual behavior.

AND

What homosexuals do is an action. The fact that they find themselves
attracted to people of the same sex is some kind of physical
dysfunction. Men do not get up one morning and say: "I think I will be
attracted to another man today." People just find themselves attracted
to certain people when their bodies begin producing hormones, around
age 12 or 13. They can refuse to act on it for religious reasons and
probably live a very frustated life. I know some Catholics have dealt
with this (poorly) by becoming priests and nuns.

You are both idiots. Homosexuals are found throughout Nature. There are
fundamental differences in the brains of homosexuals and heterosexuals
this a fact there is even some research that is showing a genetic link
to being a homosexual. Homosexuality is no more a sin or a birth defect
or activity than heterosexuality is and when you two grow up both
intellectually and spiritually perhaps you will learn that lesson.
Though hold out little hope that you will learn that this lesson this

Being a Homosexual is not a Dysfunction it is a different state of
being and perception there is nothing more wrong with it than there is
with being a Heterosexual. Homosexuality is a state that exists
throughout Nature and it is just as natural as Heterosexuality. The
fact that somebody decided at some time to allegedly write that their
god said that it was evil has no relation to reality.

Tell that to the Wolves, all Primates and countless other species that
are also homosexuals. You are projecting your religious interpretation
which is in turn is based on a poor translation and changes made to
your texts to dictate what is and is not normal for the rest of the
world. Most homophobes like yourself are hiding their own homosexual
desires, this is primarily the reason for these things seeping into the
Bible. I am not saying this is true in your case, but you do seem to
projecting a lot here. Perhaps you should tend to your own house and
leave the rest of the world alone. The fact is that anything that is
found in Nature is Natural and thus not a Perversion or put another way
it is just How God Made them.

with violence and control. This is different from having a consensual
and natural relationship with another consenting adult. You seem to

these men appear to be feminized and many of the homosexual women are
