Actually this is true, I am a victim and my doctor verifyed it. I can not go more then 20 hours without chapstick because my lips are so addicted to it that they will crack and bleed. I am currently trying to break the habit by using just plain petrulium(?) jelly that is what is best.

I never use chapstick. I'm a dumbass, like Spike and KMII were talking about, who just licks my lips. So I frequently wake up in the morning to find dry blood on my lips. It's actually kind of gross.

wow, that's serious.

the very little times I used chapstick, I noticed that my lips were worse off after the chapstick wore off, I knew there was something wrong with it, but no one believed me, they thought I was crazy...and so on and so forth

ugh. you're just paranoid. c'mon, you're lips are always going to feel dry, whether you put chapstick on or not. ok, would you rather lick your lips and have dry, crackly, bleedy lips? or put on chapstick and have dry, not crackly, not bleedy lips? hmm..... so, who cares? not i.

lmao... I'm not surprised, and it's probably true. I really don't use chap-stick for DRY lips...I used it to make me stop picking at them. =\

I agree entirely with ATLien. I didn't know that about chapstick.. but it makes sense. And it's true licking your lips is the worst thing you can do... it quickly dries out your lips and makes the highly chapped and cracked and they just look horrible. its actually a problem I've had appearant for quite a while [chapped lips] and i can't use chapstick cuz my b/f ******* about it that i cant kiss him with it on.... but anyway the best thing to do for dry lips is stay well hydrated [drink lots of water] and if you hAVE TO put something on it use vasaline [protroleum jelly]

I mearly meant that both is wasting your money.

think about it, how many tubes of it do you buy? sure, it's only less than $5 dollars, but think about it.

that's money you can use for something that actually works!

That was me demonstrating how ridiculous it is to think chapstick is addicting. That's like saying nail polish is addicting, or shaving gel, or something like that.

OMG. if you say "that's what they want you to think" ONE MORE TIME!! ugh. i dunno. i'll.. go eat a sandwich or something. SO stop saying that. becuase its not. i use it a lot.. and it works for me. and am i having "chapstick" withdrawls? noooo... so. there. the end.
