me and my friends tend to commentate on our own games since the comentary is usually a lil bit...boring...or if we're streaming, in a language we dont understand....xD
i watch alot of sports, just got used to all the crazy commentary, im sports mad
i wouldnt say EURO08 is boring now guys, just cause your team is knocked out....>_>
the excitement shouldnt just be from free wheeling and gung ho approaches, it should be in the sportsmanship, the tactical nous of a coach, the drama of penalties, your keeper not being up to scratch but for some fine last ditch defending.
i know being a ManUtd fan, that may seem hypocritical, telling everyone its not about the skills or pace of the game that make it exciting, but even so, you've got to appreciate whats happening on a deeper level to truly enjoy sports, its not just the 40 yard fizzing free kicks, or a step over driven run, its everything, the crowd, the atmosphere, the situation, the fact that its genuine knockout football, noone can afford to put a step wrong cause they'll get punished later on(ie Moutinho for Portugal, missed a dead set sitter 5 yards out then Schweinsteiger scores down the other end)
ive been through one of the best seasons so far, filled with dramas and tense moments, and ultimate glory at the end, ManUtd's double, Australias progression to next stage of WC qualifying....and it all resumes in a few months >=D

well germany should win the first one...
but then again...we've been saying that about every team thats faced turkey so far...such houdinis, perhaps 1...2? more shocks?
russia and spain will be absorbing and fun, spain should win simply because they can combine flair and the maturity, though, like what italy did to spain, perhaps if russia shackle torres and villa and pressure the spanish engine room, perhaps some big tournament gremlins may reappear....
ballack,schwein and lahm danger men for germany, turan and nihat for me are the danger for the turks
arshavin and palyuvchenko, though more so arshavin the key man for russia...whereas the spanish strike force of torres and villa are the danger men, those 2 fire, spain in a thrashing, if those 2 misfire like they did against italy...well then the penalties lottery may come round to bite spain 2nd time around

lol both Arda Turan(suspended) and Nihat(injured out of the rest of cup) are out also other unavailable

Injured: Servet, Nihat, Emre Gungor, Emre Belezoglu,
but still every player will play with the same will all other players and i think that our success so far is because of will and not skill and neither luck too

Ok I'm writing this post not only as a Turk but as a reviewer of football
1st CONGRATS TO GERMANY...i told everyone after turkey i support germany theres a special friendship bond between 2 countries with 3 mil. turks living in germany
2nd...great game it was straight down to the middle turkey dominated 1st half germany 2nd half turkey had much more shots and critical possessions but you can see germany is more experienced they had like 5 net chances scoring 3 and turkey had like 10 scoring 2..we cud have lost be4 but it happened now..ref made sum really biased decisions in favor of germany game got stressed out a bit but i didnt think it was anything to change the score....1st half turkey RAPED germany was only schweinsteiger every1 else sucked..2nd half turkish sub team(9 main players were injured) showed its inexperience conceding 2 goals..its football
no matter what me and the rest of my country is proud of their team and i think we gave the most entertaining matches of this tournament...i wudnt have mattered to me if we got knocked out as long as we were entertaininig i mean last euro cup greece won but their matches bored me to deah
