Evanescence is one of my faves bands,I reckon Amy Lee has a great voice.

I have a question for u guys,yesterday when I was downloading for Evanescence songs I saw these ones in Lime Wire:

*Demise

*Restless

*Before the dawn

*Heart shapped box(acoustic)

And I have checked in their 1st cd and their dvd but none of those songs were on both of them so my question is are those songs new or they are from some old songs from an old cd?

Evanescence are amazing. i saw them in concert. I think their best song is Field Of Innocence, it made me cry.

it said on the radio they split up ciz of a lovers tiff...hmmm...

i had a chance 2 see them when they were in Perth

dont think they sound that good live but Amy has such an amazing voice

Lies is one of their better songs

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! A TOPIC ON EVANESCENCE!!! I LOVE AMY!!! those songs from before are from other self produced ep's. I have 129 evanescence songs (as u can see i like to keep the nombers low). I can upload any for anyone that wants to listen. GO TO http://WWW.EVANESCENCE.IT its like this board but an eva style one. EVERYONE WHO SAIS THEY SOUND LIKE LINKIN PARK ARE JUDGING THEM BY BMTL. i really liked evanescence some time ago,but ater ben moody left evanescence went down....and i think they will stay there....

come on....u say they don't sound like lp

do u know the story with chester and amy lee?that evanescence's label wanted them to be like lp...that's why they wanted mike to do the rap parts in bring me to life and chester said no ,he said that mike will never do that and he also told amy lee to be herself and don't copy anyone....but the next they've seen is the guy from 12 stones making the "rap" parts and sounding like mike.....yeah f***ing originality....

rofl, i think i first heard em three years ago.. some guy told my buddy and i (we were uber lp fans back then, before mason turned.. wigger *shiver*)but the guy said that they were just like Linkin Park, only with a female vocalist rofl. so i asked if her name was chesterette rofl..

why would they want lp to do the rap. they would use paul mcoy to promote 12 stones because they share the same label

yeah yeah yeah....this is like this.........amy lee wanted mike to do the rap parts but because he didn't wnat it the label chose paul mccoy....and he doesn't sound at all like mike....no no no no....they don't copy anyone...

yeah and evanescence is so f***ing original,it's like you would here chester's feminine way of singing...

oh come on....keep it clear...face it...i know reality hurts....but evanescence f***ing suck and tell me when they'll make a new album to know how they'll make a fool of themselfes.....without ben moody there evanescence is dead...u can see that i don't have to repeat it again and again...

lol!!! I don't care if people hate evanescence. it just means that their either on drugs or they have a bad taste in music. Its hard to go onto an LP site and not get a mixed response for evanescence since lp were the first band they were compared to before people discovered nightwish. tw amy listens to all music (besides britney) but she wouldn't choose mike. she was 20 and would have trusted her label. the main people she likes are people like korn and bjork
