this is a poem inspired by Fallout 3...enjoy

Standing in the heart of a bloodied field,

The stench of rotting flesh swarm around me.

A pistol in my left hand,

Blood-stained sword in my right.

A sadistic smile plastered on my face,

My eyes show no remorse.

A city laid to rest,

All but one has met their fate.

He stands only five feet from my sword

Silly man, should have been farther away.

I swing my sword gracefully,

Taking off his head in one swift blow.

The crew behind me cackle with glee

Their leader strikes down another

Just to show what she can do.

Onward we march

Towards the next unlucky town

Pillage and plunder to stay alive

While at the same time

Making a name for ourselves.

This new waste of a world

After all the wars

Has left room for only the strong

Only the brave and insane survive.

And us.

A mixture of both.

We are the Raiders of this land

Be Warned.

The unknown love…

He stands there on a broken road

Lonely and afraid.

On either side, light shines

But on him

Only darkness appears.

His parents left him to fend for himself

All those dark years ago.

Now, almost a grown man

He walks this wounded path alone…

Or so he thinks.

On the gray path

Between the light and the dark

Stands a broken girl

The black sheep of her family.

She watches him from the dreary side

Wishing she could help his lonesome life.

One day when the young man needs food

He finds a roll of money in his broken street.

The girl stands behind a tree

Watching the boy cautiously pick up the money

Then quickly running to the store.

She giggles to herself

The first time she’s laughed in a long time.

The next day,

The boy sits on the sidewalk

Thinking how lucky he was

To find money for food and water.

The girl walks up to him and smiles

Making the boy instantly smile back at her.

They talk…

About their lives

About their losses

They sit and talk till the sun is down past the horizon

The boy never stops smiling

Finally he’s not alone

At last he has found somebody for him.

The girl never speaks of the money

The roll of money she’d left for him…

It’d be her little secret.

Ten years later,

The woman says ‘I Do’

While smiling up at the man next to him.

Successful and happy, the wed.

And the man always wondered

About the person who’d left him money

To start him on his way

To his now magnificent life.

this is something i wrote when i was extremely bored staring at a blank document on Word....enjoy, i think it sucks, but hey, you decide

Friends

I always thought friends were suppose to be there for you

Instead of taking a razor sharp knife to your spine.

Friends were suppose to say happy birthday to you

Instead of saying it on you grave.

Friendship was meant to last forever

Not to be stepped on or tossed out of the window.

Why would you want to be friends with somebody?

Only to toss what you had away on graduation day.

Why, would you think, would people want to stay friends

With somebody who was just being a weasel,

Waiting for the perfect moment to sneak away,

And eventually, break everything you thought you knew.

I don’t understand it really.

If you were ‘Friends’ for four, maybe five years

What would make you want to act that way?

As if you never once knew them

As if they never once confided in you

When they couldn’t turn to anyone else.

Friendship. Don’t waste it.

One day, when the world is dark and horrible

Where would you be if you didn’t have anyone?

Not one person you could trust.

But alas, if only you hadn’t tossed away your friends

If you hadn’t been so distant

If only, you could take that back.
