I'm a little curios as to what people think about Linkin Parks future. I think they're going to keep a golden future, but that's me. What do you all think?

P.S. Linkin Park kicks *** >

future?album just came out... wait 3-5 more years, you'll find out first hand

its gonna be soft rock with a touch of the old stuff i feel, maybe even a hybrid album of songs like LOATR,TLTYGA etc with NMS,faint,APFMH and such, i woulda liekd that, some soft tracks but some real belters!

Meh... expect a new CD in about a year or two.

I don't think they're gonna keep us waiting as long as they did for this one lol

Chester: I think that now that we've found ourselves as a band.. that... albums will flow more quickly and we'll probably be in the studio again in a year or two.

thats about what he said in some interview when they were making fun on them for waiting so long to release another album.

IDK I don't think it looks to good they are all ready labeled sell out...so from a popularity stand point its gonna keep declining. From a musical prospective its gonna stay soft rock that is not very complex (and don't anyone dare say Brad's solos are complex). I am hoping they have some more heavy songs on next album if not they are gonna lose fans. LP is my favorite and I hope they can come back and kinda mix HT and M2M and add a little bit more progression and be a little stronger musically.

I'm still wainting for their reincarnation as a rap-polka band
That made me actually laugh out loud.. normally I don't laugh when I put, lol, but this time I really did.. Nice one .

But anywho.. I dunno.. I can see atleast 2 more albums outta them.. Hopefully more.

I personally found Minutes To Midnight decent. The softer songs were amazing, but sadly their attepmts at sounding "hard" on tracks like Give Up and No More Sorrow sound waaayyy to forced.

they are still a good band, but in dropping the nu metal rapping and screaming they have lost that edge that has been present in thier sound for so long.

Here is what I want! I want Hahn to do a mash-up of Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight. A remix/mash-up. Like ReAnimation a bit.

That would be pretty cool.

agree with everything, i love the ballads way more than theyr hard songs

i would love a remix album but a studio album would be better :>

Frankly, I think the next studio album will be a disaster. LP's new sound is merely decent.

My hope is that Minutes to Midnight are merely baby steps in a new direction, and that the next studio album is a whole new kind of monster.

Frankly, I want to headbang to the next album. MTM is great for chillin and fallin asleep, but for goodness sakes I want to rock out too.

you still hoping for that, having said that their attempts at being hard were way too forced?

I've been hoping for more heavy stuff from them, but frankly I'm not too optimistic about the outcome

Linkin Park are a band where they are in an unfortunate posistion that will see any further decline in interest in the public resulting in catostraphic results, thats why BIG bands dont tend to last as their survival relies entirley on the mainstream which constantly changes.

There future is going to be awful, im comparrison to how many people use to love them and be obbessed with them, they have zero fans left. I see maybe a live album with a DVD just to make some money (lol, probably be releashed around christmas then) and then one more studio album which will totally flop because so many have gone off them or branded them sell outs. then no more LP.

jeez, i hope im wrong!
