Future of Linkin Park?

yeah nu metal is dead, i think if teh guys stay friends and keep the band ina good spirt why would they break up... most bands that break up do it cause the people in teh band start fighting. IDK why but chester does look like the guy to start some fight in teh band -_- but i hope lp stays around for anotehr 7 odd years if not 10

fights won't be a problem. These guys are like brothers so that they keep going

maybe but it takes more than comeradery to keep a band going. they need to keep the creative spark they've sometimes had. the kind of spark that sparks songs like Little Things

i think they've kept up that creative spark. Their lyrics are still good and even though they've replaced nu-metal for something like "progressive rock" it's okay...as long as they sound good. Lol i guess I'm confused =S :]

That doesn't prevent fights from happening. That would probably make it worse if a disagreement ever arose.

And like someone already said, it takes more than just friendship. They could end up flopping on their next CD. Look what happened to Good Charlotte. ^_^

Nope. Their last CD became a no name. A lot of people think that they broke up.

Another example, the bond in the band Chevelle between the three brothers didn't help at all. One still left and the band is STILL picking up the pieces. Let's just hope LP doesn't start arguing. :/

It wont be another 4 years until a new album... You never know, they might release a new one in about 2 years which would be fantastic. But I honestly think they are going to jump from MTM to something else even bigger. And I was surprised when MTM became a big hit, so I have faith the next album will be even a bigger hit then all the albums put together.

I'm guessing the wait for the next album wouldn't be as long as MTM. And they're probably give us something bigger and ever more of a surprise to take But mark my words, Linkin Park is legendary and will stay a legend. \m/

If I´d like to hear a mix of last three albums, I´d just put those in Winamp´s playlist and press shuffle .

I think that LP is gonna change style at least once in the future. Though I have no idea what it will be.

And I´m pretty sure that it won´t take 4 years to make the next album... But who knows, it could take 6 years this time, or then they could make 2 albums in one year. tjsp.

And you can tell with Vena Sera that it has changed their music (for the worse IMO)

I like it just as much as the others. ^_^ It is different though. Plus, there were rumors that the lead singer wrote the bassists parts for him. 0.o But I guess we can never know if that was true.

lol i find it funny that you guys say they sell out. yet i see M2M still on the soundscan charts. M2M is a great album. im sure that linkin park (since they care about there fans) will take everyones opinion into consideration, and do the M2M/Hybrid Theory on there new album

thats a problem??? i listen to three tracks off of Meteora. that album is just Ok. YES METEORA STANS I SAID THAT IT IS JUST AN OKAY ALBUM. if they had stayed with nu metal then Minutest To Midnight woulda sucked, every song on Meteora sounds almost the exact same. i get so bored of that album. people who like there old music thats fine but if your not willing to try and listen to there new album just cuz its "different" then that is just stupid. they broke the walls down. and made another classic album. Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight will always be in my top 10 fav albums of my life. there next album will blow M2M out of the water.
