Future of Linkin Park?

LP will eventually end in the next 5 years probably....not that I want them to...

Linkin Park are a band where they are in an unfortunate posistion that will see any further decline in interest in the public resulting in catostraphic results, thats why BIG bands dont tend to last as their survival relies entirley on the mainstream which constantly changes.

That statement above is sooooooo true.

so you guys think they wouldn't make it, without all the mainstream attention?

I find that somewhat likely too...

when it ends, I really can't wait to see what they all decide to do

I truly only believe Mike Shinoda has a decent future in music. Everyone else I have my doubts (Chester may do a few things but nothing big.

I think Mike is the only one that has a secure future. he just has so many options. the other guys might end up like Krist Novoselic from Nirvana, start a few bands that nobody really hears about...

that was Dave Grohl. Dave did actually ask Krist to be in the band, but Krist didn't want people to think they were still trying to be Nirvana, I guess, so he said no.

If i know someone of LP plays in it, i sure would listen to it:)

In a year or two you'll hear their music on every station dedicated to the 40 year old woman of our nation. They're getting too soft. If they were to break up, I think all would be ******. Think about it. Most of the Fort Minor fans were fans of LP and even then Mike didn't gain much recognition for that project. Just a reputation as some hard rock guy trying to go ghetto. I have a feeling LP won't be around for more than two more albums. :/

I guess they would last very long if they went back to the old LP, which is way better
I don't know, a lot have changed since 2001, incl fans, they lose some of the old fans, and gain some of the new fans, i don't know wich LP would be better

yeah nu metal is dead, i think if teh guys stay friends and keep the band ina good spirt why would they break up... most bands that break up do it cause the people in teh band start fighting. IDK why but chester does look like the guy to start some fight in teh band -_-

but i hope lp stays around for anotehr 7 odd years if not 10
