Also, define 'Illegal' when it comes to music.
Everything that you can get from a band, lets just use LP an an example, is copyrighted.
Bootlegs - Hmmm.... They wrote those lyrics & the music... The songs are more than likely on an album... They are property of said band.
B-Sides, Unreleased, etc.. - Again, the band wrote the music & lyrics, they are again property of that band, if it's unreleased, you shouldn't have it anyway, that in & of itself is copyright infringement, because it's not supposed to be out.

Now, I don't care if you upload them & share them. Hell, I like them too, and I get them, but links will not be posted in this thread, or anywhere else on this forum (LPF). You can give it to them by E-Mail, Instant Message, or even Private Message, that way you'll still have a copy of the message if someone else want's it.

I'll leave it at that, unless anyone want's to continue.

There was no problem with this until earlier this year. I did this all the time last year.

The label really doesn't care about bootlegs and b-sides/unreleased, since they have indeed told fansites to host them

Show me the exact line, with references, that says that they said fansites can host them, as well as the text saying that Warner doesn't care, because that is simply not what Warner would say, all things considered.
