I put men who cry are real men. Guys always say how they're so proud that they haven't cried since they were 8 or something. I think crying is a good thing though. Plus it's cute when guys cry. :)

men who aren't afraid to cry are stonger than other men.. it shows strength.. i don't think anyone should have to hide there tears.. not men or women... men who are afraid to cry are afraid to show emotions and thats not good cuz they eventually get caught up in themselves and its turns for the worst.. same with women

it depends how often they cry, if there is a reason to cry, then that'd be really nice to see him cry. But if he does it more then once a week then that's too much.

Anyhow....

Crying is ok, as long as there's good reason to. I, personally, don't cry! I've never had any reason to....Plus, it shows a state of weakness. Crying never fixes things, so there's no point in doing it...

I chose "Other" as well because I don't know if I would classify it as being a "real" man lol. They're real anyway ;) . It's definatly not dumb, but I guess it show's that guys have feelings too lol.

And like a lot of you guys said, it depends on how much they cry lol. For instance, if they cried because they couldn't watch a program or something, then THAT would be pretty dumb lol.

But if they cried over something such as losing someone - That's just... I don't know. Sweet and caring. It actually makes me wanna cry if I see a guy crying for some reason lol... Just not use to it I guess.

I think if a guy cried every once in a while for a reason, then he's a real man. If he cried like if they stopped airing barney, that would be dumb.

It matters what your crying about...If you are crying because of Physical pain...your gay.

If your crying because of metal,Emotinal pain....your cool

i think they're the real man. cuz they have sure of their feelings. closing feelings for not crying is worst, so, if you're sad (man and woman) the better thing to do is crying, letting all the bad things go away.

so if a guy had just been stabbed and was bleeding to death and he was crying you would call him....gay?

i put "real man", i cry about things, my relationship, my friendships. stuff like that.... i haven't cried from physical pain since i was 9, when i busted my leg, but i haven't been in serious pain since then so yeh.... you get my point

I said real man. Evening through crying does show that something is wrong, it vents. I cry quite a bit which I resent but I can't even help it much anymore. After you cry a fair bit, you just give up trying to hide it. It shows strength to be able to cry and you aren't 'weak' if you cry. Everyone cries.

I picked real man, but I agree with what has been said before. There must be a good reason to the crying... just not because of shallow stuff. Anyhow, I think crying shows emotion, so it's good that man are in touch with them. And it's an escape, it's a bad sign if they always keep things bottled up inside (I talk a bit against myself here, because although I'm a girl, I tend to bottle things up quite a lot... but from personal experience, I know that's a bad thing to do), so it's healthy to cry once in a while, for a good reason. I saw a wonderful movie yesterday, called Garden State, and one of the best scenes is where the main character Andrew sheds a tear after years and years of not being able to cry. It was so sweet.
