Took me so long to write!
Yeah.. I read in the Icelandic part of my Scandinavian phrase book that Icelandic people love it when foreign people attempt to speak their language :]

I do like the music scene there. That's part of the reason I want to live there. Ha.

A free Canberran magazine had a review of ólafur arnalds in the last issue. ******* excellent music.

The songs are in my own weird language, based on Finnish, Icelandic, Faroese and Danish

They're recorded on ipod headphones, because my microphone is a complete ********.

I made all of the songs up as I went along, except {Efterår... I made the main riff for that ages ago for an interlude for the Gee-Jay EP thing *points to next project*.

Franks sweet drum solo is actually Julian messing around with the drum part of the keyboard. Frank doesn't exist.

JArelle isn't really a band.. It's just Alex (another one) and I ******** around with garage band... We're hoping to record more stuff soon... We made this band dedicated to the worship of Julian.

but yeah wow, so many bands. I'm in two bands plus my own stuff and I thought I was doing much :D

look forward to checking all that out, that lyrics mixing thing sounds interesting

I love faroese btw

you should check out the band Týr if you like Faroese, they both play metal and traditional folk songs arranged into metal

I listened to one of their songs yesterday. For some reason it reminds me of Metallica... if they lived in scandinavia... and weren't total ****.

And I just realized something...

I've been listening to nothing but Sigur Rós (except for music on the tv [i don't watch commercial television!]) for about four days straight o_O

they have this remniscence of metallica, if metallca had played somewhat slower, there's just this similar atmosphere

and yeah that's not so bad is it :D

haha but yeah eventually you're going back to some kayo dot I'd assume :p

I actually went to school on a Tuesday! First time in like 2 years!

Anywhooo. I've decided to change the name of my Les Martin album. It'll be called 'Prokaryotae'.. I probably spelled that wrong, but it's pretentious and I like it!

Been going out with Brendan for six months today. yayy! Gonna go see a movie with him tonight. Iron Man. He'll probably hate it. Iron Man-Black sabbath is the theme song, apparently! **** YESSS!

I spent two hours tackling my friends on the half pipe the other day. I daxed Brinnen (translation for people who aren't Australian; pulled his pants down) when he was hanging from the top of the half pipe! It was so ******* funny xD

Anywhoo. My knees are covered in bruises. My ribs were out of alignment for about 10 hours cause seven 100 kilo guys decided to pile up on my back when we were on the half pipe. I couldn't breathe >>;

Lol. Hitchcock.

obtw. If any admin/mod people are reading this, could you like, change the title of this thread to 'Gemma's epic journal'? Man that would be awesome, in a lame sort of way.

eehehehhee. Alright, if that's how you think about it.

I have to go to Melbourne! It's like 600 kilometers away >_>;;

But I have some business to do with a friend that's had my Beavis and Butthead video for nearly two years that's moved there. So it will be worth it.

Why the **** would they do that, anyway? There's not ******* bars at any of the venues where Sigur Rós are playing, so what's the point in making it 18+ Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

I miss 13+ gigs. Haha. No ***** pre teen ****. **** I miss sound underground. Sigur Rós should've come here while it was still around, and played there. That would've been sweet.

I'm not GOING to Melbourne anymore. Sigur Rós gig is 18+!

Man I need some awesome band to play at the AIS again. Alice Cooper was such a good concert (front roooowww).

I really should annoy Toby until he makes Kayo Dot come to Australia.

Go to Melbourne still just for the sake of trying to get into the gig.

Suprise Nightwish wasn't 18+ we had 15 yr olds in the mosh pit complaining that they wanted to get out when the band hadn't freakin' came on.
