Umm...I know they're the same "buddy" in some aspects but in Rap Metal the hip hop influences are emphasized more. Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit come to mind in this.

I’m well aware of what I’ve posted and don’t see any “negativity” in it. I think what I say is misconstrued as negativity is because of my lack of overzealous fanism. While I am aware that is a Linkin Park fan site or forum or whatever I have things I like about Linkin Park and things I dislike. I have no reservations and expressing those things I do not like. When I do say the things I dislike about them I don’t rip them, I just say it and be done with it. I don’t really think I do it in a negative fashion at least to the point to garner and serious attention or annoyance but I don know I guess I would viewed as such. I don’t really think what I say is that bad, negative, or even in which honestly I find that description to be a bit extreme. I’m more indifferent then anything else. Like this forum has some fangirls/fanboys I don’t mean that in a pejorative manner then you have people who hate them (which obviously aren’t on this forum). I’m more in the middle ground and I think how I post denotes this. Indifferent and negative aren’t the same thing you know. I may come off as negative compared to everyone else here but I don't think I come off as negative as something of a polar opposite of everyone else here. It's pretty obvious I walk in the middle here. I don't go around saying Linkin Park greatest band ever nor do I go into random threads saying LOL Linkin Park sucks. So why is this even an issue? o_O Reminds me of high school really you know how they always pick on the kids who are different from everybody else. :rolleyes:

It wasn't my intention to make you feel picked on, and i apologize for this miswording of "negativity". Maybe i'm misinterpreting, but when you said something like QWERTY was the closest they got to metal, it feels as if you are saying that Linkin Park would be better if they turn metal. They even said themselves they aren't metal. Like mentioned before, LP has their own possessive style, and metal doesn't neccessarily mean better. I'm totally fine with what metal is. But LP's styl is their style is their own. It's just that sometimes you keep relating them to metal and nu-metal and etc that i got a little irky

I am a huge Linkin Park fan' date=' but I seriously feel like the new LP album won't be anything special and that it will sell less than the other two. After listening to their new style (ASP, QWERTY) I really don't feel like they will ever live up to what Hybrid Theory made them out to be. I'm sure LP fans will LOVE it nonetheless, and I hope I'm wrong, reallllllllly hope I'm wrong and this thing goes platinum, but I just don't see it happening if they stray away from nu-metal. I think everybody (including myself) either got, or is getting their hopes up just to watch the Bills lose the Superbowl again.[/quote']
HEY!! The bills will win the superbowl someday, but for now go sabres.

Anyway, i don't think the album will be a flop, I actually think that it will draw in a lot of new fans if their style is really what they say it is.

Exactly. just try to be more open to everyone else and their opinions. Everyone is open to opinion. If someone thinks LP isnt nu-metal, thats fine, they are entitled to their opinion. You dont need to tell them that LP nu-metal/rap-core etc etc.

wat will be,will be, i just dont see the point in making such a negative prediction.

if u want to hear qwerty, it shud be on youtube,the live performances anyways. its a very good song,and considering its not even going to be on the record, means theres bound to be better matierial.
