Honestly...I don't mind if LP sounds like U2.

U2 are an awesome band and they make music for what?...like over 20 years now...

I wish that LP are around that long.

They made a good album in the 80's..... that's it

But LP and U2 do have something in common, their music follows a formula, almost all the time... the same formula and the guitar riffs are made to sound more complicated threw production and tinkering with the amp.

you can't honestly say though that MTM followed the same prescribed formula

I mean it ain't a masterpiece that's for sure but at least they changed their approach, which is healthy for any band.

I don't think it's worth releasing it as a single... No More Sorrow would be way better, or even Given Up. But Shadow Of The Day isn't the kinda song I wanna hear when I'm watching tv. I'd even rather a crappy Sean Kingston or whatever his name is song...
