Here's the funny part of that conservative written biased article.

The conservatives wanna distance themselves so much from the guy THEY put in office, that they had to write this little tidbit about it:

Today, however, Obama, just like George W. Bush in the 2000 election, managed to squeeze in some workout time despite a heavy schedule leading up to his big speech at the Siegess?ule, or Victory Column, around 7 p.m. Berlin time.
Hilarious !!
Am I supposed to get the impression Obama=Bush 3rd term from that?

Obama's rebuttal can be found here: http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/washington/politics-usa-obama-germany-troops.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

I do believe that, in comparison, Obama's term will be likened to Bush the Younger's term. I also said once that he'd be a **** ringer for Carter.

Oh yeah... the article was heavily biased, but then again so is the rest of the secular media. So... you fight fire with fire.

Obama's reason and explanation are good enough for me, it makes sense. Again, trying to find fault and criticism for everything the man does, doesn't make HIM look bad.... Or calling him messiah, etc.
I agree 100%

The Messiah thing is stupid for one thing. And all these **** Republicans keep saying it as a metaphoric slur of some sorts like it should be insulting or something.

Quite the opposite, the name calling helps the guy.

Does an election REALLY have to come down to name calling and accusations now?

I see McCain has FINALLY started revamping his approach of what was, by all accounts, a very fair campaign, I give the guy credit for that.

This week, he has resorted to name calling and accusations... what has it gotten him?

Obamas highest spread point ever.

I think he needs a better campaign consultant.

I was trying to compliment the sonofabitch.

I agree 100%

Calling Obama the Messiah, et. al., is not a metaphor. A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance, as in “A mighty fortress is our ***.” or "addicted to oil".

I think what you mean to say, calling Obama the Messiah is a hyperbolic statement. Which is a literary term used to describe how something, someone can be exaggerated.

I guess, it can also be a form of verbal irony (ie sarcasm).

Quite the opposite, the name calling helps the guy.
How, when, where has the name calling helped him? Is he starting to think that he is the Annointed One?

Does an election REALLY have to come down to name calling and accusations now?
The name calling, yes, is a little unfair and silly. The accusations should fly like ***** around Nancy Pelosi's mouth.

I see McCain has FINALLY started revamping his approach of what was, by all accounts, a very fair campaign, I give the guy credit for that.
"Politickin' old school".

He's super ****** that he's not getting as much camera time as Obama... I guess.

This could be a blessing for the Republican presumptive.

Now this is really the sort of stuff that should set off the red flags in voters. Obama is trying to get us in good graces with the rest of the world again, while McCain on the other hand, is already sticking his nose in other countries' business- China criticizes McCain-Dalai Lama meeting - Yahoo! News

And this is even though the Dalai Lama is making sure to make it clear HE IS NOT ENDORSING MCCAIN. What a fool shakes head ....

If China doesn't shut their **** mouths, we'll get someone else to make our American flags.
I went to Walmart the other day and bought an American flag. It was actually made in the USA. Surprised me.

They must have dusted them off before they put them on the rack. The package looks brand new. :p Made by Annin and certified made in U.S.A. by FMAA.

It was a Walmart Super Center (or whatever they call those combo stores).
