I think that if you're looking for something like this, you should check out chaz's solo album when it drops. way more likely he'll head into directions like that than with lp.

sure, there's piano on bth, but not on the album. and my december was a song specifically written for some show they played, right?

My December was written for KROQ's Slim Santa XMas 2000 CD.

KROQ asked LP for a song and LP did My December for them. They wrote the song and recorded it in Nashville. Mike did most all of the work on the song...about 80% or so. The concept was his idea...

LP performed the song on KROQ's Almost Acoustic X-Mas as the first song on their set in 2000 and didn't start playing it again till late 01...then stopped in early 02 and didn't play it again until MWT 04.

And of course they released it to the fanclub on the LPU 2.0 CD.

Aaaand that's what I know about My December :p

they should include one or two as a hidden track/s after like half an hour of silence at the end of the last track!!! lol
That would be cool if that were possible. Usually Linkin Park albums have about 30 minutes of music, and if there was half an hour of silence after the last track then it would be over an hour of audio, and this dosen't happen in the music industry. Take The Beatles Love, for instance, they wanted to add 2 minutes to the CD so they had to have a 'special edition' with a Audio-DVD in it to go over an hour! Mabye they should do like 5 minutes of silence, then another track with about 1 minute of silence, then another track with about 30 seconds of silence before the song starts.

And if you take away the silence it is actually a pretty short album.

Yeah, the song was called MX.

arent lp albums roughly 40 mins long?

i voted no, coz 1. woodnt fit unless LP add as aforementioned, silence tracks,as ahidden or intermissions thing

and 2, chester has a solo album, he can just add it in there?

I honestly don't think Chester is a good singer. Period.

Errr...I can't believe someone actually said that, you ever hear that song he did with Motley Crue, Home Sweet Home. I would have to say Chester proves himself and then some on that song.

I think he more meant like, a truly really good singer. as in one of the best. or I dunno, I'm not gonna put words in wakka's mouth.

all I can say is though, when wakka says something, it makes sense.

when i realy give this topic thought, i think that they shouldn't. i am also one of the people who is less then a fan of chesters voice, but i like the songs, just not so much chesters vocals.

as someone before me said, he could jsut put it on his solo album if he wants to do one.

Yeah it would be best on his Solo album, he probably has one on it and we are fighting for nothing so let's all make peace and love and be friends

LOL

I don't think it would fit well with the new album..
That's exactly why they need to do a song like that. It'll end the constant mundane like droning that their previous albums had. They need to inject some range and diversity into their music. Easier to Run was a good start but it could have been better had it been 5 minutes or so with a guitar solo. Speaking of guitar solos what happened to them? They're like a lost art. It's a shame.
