I don't get why anyone would not want to come back here, based solely on the new layout. Except of course if it gives you a headache.

But for it just being in the person's opinion ugly...that's no reason to leave.

Obviously there's need for criticism but by some of the responses on here I wouldn't have been surprised to see coredump get mad at some people in here.

Nah blehh...I'm not telling anyone to behave. Those who don't, are the same people that never learn...

coredump himself stated there is alot of stuff in the layout he isnt happy with.

ya i agree there are some things that needs to be fixed

but im sure he doesent want to leave the forum cause of the upgrade ><

It's just that...I felt some people weren't exactly being polite, that's all.

Alright, cool :)

I think the community as a whole, admin, mods and members needs to all have a civil chat about what we want fixed up, instead of this "Oh the new design is ****" blah blah.

yeah, those awards are rigged.the community has hardly any input into the awards, and it is popularity/friendships that get you the awards.

not that i care, a little award on a forum means nothing to me, i just dont like seeing people ripped off and disadvantaged.

What the **** are you talking about? LPF awards were so good! Then people started getting really petty about it. And a Banner Competition would be exactly the same as LPF awards, people saying it's a popularity contest. So...complain less imo

I'm not saying we shouldn't have an input into anything. I'm just saying state ideas with more respect.

If your tired of it, start listening to the community and what they want. You get the negative comments because the staff dont listen to what we want. Sure, you guys own and run the place, but we are the ones who visit, who make the threads and discuss things, so we should be able to have input too.
We have been asking for a banner/layout design competition for ages, and we were all ignored. and its only now that we decided to run the competion ourselves, that the site got updated.

when I think back...I dunno.

I was gonna say something fantabulous but I lost my train of thought.

Anyway. shadowfax has a point, if you ask me. or...again, I dunno. lpf awards right now, and yes, back then, aren't and weren't a good idea. I mean after the what, 2nd time they did it (?) we should've realized it would do little but wake up the beast...

I cant complain because I dont come here that often :lol: But I'll do it anyways. :p

Im not too keen about the .gifs everywhere, and not too keen about the user part where everything is above your post instead next to it. But that just needs some time :) Looks awesome anyway :D

the LPF awards are rigged, its all about friendship groups, who is friends with who, and who has the most power on the forums. Not who deserves the awards.

the banner competition wouldnt be rigged. it would be a public, anonymous poll, and people vote for the banner they like the best. its that simple, you like a banner, you vote for it, if you think its ****, you dont vote for it.

Couldn't we just use a multiple skin code so we could choose the v3.0 or v4.0 skin? Members who liked v3.0 more could select that one and vice versa. The only things I don't like about this one is the wide posts and the .gifs otherwise it's really nice :thumbsup: I only have a little over 200 posts so, it doesn't matter much to me :p

i like the new layout i have got used to it i would only say to go for a lil colour change like back to black or may be a mix of black and gray to give it more depth other than that i like it and i like the .gifs their kinda qurky

I think because it was an ''upgrade''. Im still not happy over it =/ i've stopped posting as much as I used to =( it's just so unappealing to post in here now =(

this new set up make my computer work really slowly whilst viewing it. and it just genrally confuses me and what the **** are shouts?
