sevilla 2-2 espanyol(3-1 penalties)

palop saved like 3 in a row, what a beast

it was a pretty good game too, sevilla were always gonna be stronger int erms of perssonel, but espanyol were really good.

i love getafe , floggin barca 4-0 to go through to the coppa del ray final.even though its a tad old, its still awesome

man U V chelsea FA cup final on saturday, hopefully its a belter, but apparently mourinho has no back up attackers, with shevchenko, ballack, mikel and co out injured, the forward line looks a little sparse, hopefully it lives up to its billing, no.1 and 2 in the EPL, each have won a cup so far, and both were knocked out at the SF stage of the CL, so it should be fairly even

spain won the under 17s cup(euro?) defeating england in the final

heh... sometimes (well... most of the times), BIG teams like Barca tend to go easy on teams they know they are superior to. Teams get too confident >.<

T Henry for 16 mil?(reported) is an ABSOLUTE BARGAIN, for a player of his class and quality, thats like finding a rolex in a pile of garbage! Considering Torres(athletico) is valued at 25 mil,Darren Bent was valued at 18 at one stage(he was bought for 17 by West Ham but backed out, hes reportedly about to sign or has signed for Spurs for 15-16 mil), so what does that say about these blokes? are they as good? or overpriced louts. The sporting director actually came out and blamed Man U for driving Henrys price up, GOOD GRIEF! Barca were willing to throw the entire bank at Henry last season and are complaining he was bought for 16...=_=. in anycase, what do you reckon Chelsea and Liverpool have done as well? Chelsea paid 25 for SWP,30 for Sheva, while Liverpool paid 10mil each for Crouch,Bellamy and are chasing Diego Forlan for around 10 as well! whos jacking up the prices aye?

i say a big au revoir to Henry, the man i feared the most when ManU were winning, he was probably the only bloke who could strike fear into ManU and carry it out all through these years, forget Drogba, forget Kaka, this bloke was the real deal, his speed, magic and brilliance have won him almost everything in world football, good luck on his next endeavor and a big thank you for making ManU-Arsenal Derbys special occassions simply by being at the game

australia have just drew 1-1 to OMAN...******* disgraceful, both sides, socceroos for having 0 skill to knock off oman, and oman for stacking their defence with alll 11 bloes after snatching the 1-0 lead. its just not footballl....

welcome to "asian" football...not much different to european football where minnows stack the defence, but at least the "top" teams can still WIN, pathetic Australian performance

thank you Everton for releasing Timmy Cahill for socceroo duty, he saved out bacon...again, a 92nd min leveller

well if you watched the match, no less than 10 incidents where an Oman player needed a stretcher..a ******* stretcher! 2 seconds after theyre FINALLY dragged to the sideline(with no less than CRAMP! or at best just diving for the sake of killing time) theyre running around like they got an energizer battery shoved up where the sun dont shine!

in better news(for me)...Vietnam stun Gulf Cup winners United Arab Emirates 2-0...w0000t, and Japan were ALSO shock 1-1 ties with Qatar(?), which leaves Vietnam(essenitally the squad is the under 23's preparing for Olympics in Beijing next year-also,no less than SIX! Nguyens in the squad, cant go wrong there!) on top! oh yerrrrrrrr ^^

anyone else looking at possible another Brazil v Argentina match up? Mexico and Uruguay are tough opponents, but seeing Argentina and brazil click into gear is frightening, and even if they dont, they still have a host of players to come back as well, certinly for brazil with Kaka,Ronaldhino,Ronaldo,Adriano as just a handful of players out of the current Brazil line up, but if all else...im looking at Brazil V Mexico, or, if shocks are in order, Uruguay V Mexico, underdogs in both, but full of class, and in uruguays case, can make Brazil pay for leaving such clssy players off their list!
