Lionel messi, what a player...a hattrick!

sorry to dissapoint you jeezy, but id say that most if not all ur tips are off =P

PSV to knock out Liverpool(this may seem farfetched...but given that Liverpool havnt scored at home in a few games...PSV are a chance)

Valencia to roll Chelsea(GO VILLA GO!)

Man U to sneak home against Roma(probably the match of the round,GO THE DEVILS!)

and AC to sneak it against Bayern(another moment of magic from Kaka to seperate the teams!,although i wouldnt put it past the Germanians to smash Milan on their day)

haha

out of the tips of you two, you my friend are clearly the one off

psv did beat arsenal but arsenal's on a low, liverpool's in good form

liverpool on that one

valencia's not gonna beat chelsea...chelsea's too strong

man u will win roma, I'll give you that

but ac milan vs. bayern as things have been right now is anybody's game

i wouldnt write off Valencia just yet(for some reason everyone seems to think theyre a **** team, forgetting they were La Liga and UEFA champions only a few seasons ago) not to mention the class they have in their team could shadow most teams(Villa,Vincente,Canizares etc), dont forget they smashed the lights out of Barcelona when barcelona were playing at their best. not to mention outlasted runaway italian and early champions league favourites Inter. Chelsea are by no means setting the world on fire either.

and im merely tipping PSV because i hate Liverpool, as you do when you grow up to be a MANU fan :D ,and considering Alex's form, i wouldnt entirely rule out PSV yet, many people did that at Arsenals peril. the AC/Bayern will come down to who controls the midfield, especially for Milan since they seem to have no strike force of any note now that shevas gone.but i still leave my vote with AC purely on Kaka's recent form, on his day, he easily outstrips ronaldinho for speed, skill and power.the only edge i see for Bayern lie in their strike force, which is far superior to Milans

Anyone catch the MANU V Euro XI game? that was one helluva game, Ronaldos free kick leaving canizares for dead, the general flow of the game was brilliant. Ibrahimovic stealing a penalty(which he smashed into the cross bar!) away from Henrik Larrson! Man U prevailed 4-3 over the Euro XI, but it was a great friendly game with plenty of good action

Valencia's been goin through tons of injuries

and I don't know who'd tip Inter for winning the CL...they never win anything except last season in Italy but only cause Juve was relegated after the season

Alex is injured...I'm not sure if he'll play

tru valencia have been rocked by injuries, but theres still enough class to shake things up

youd be surprised, inter were the outright favourites for awhile there...i mean consider there team and the players they bought over the summer..Ibrahimovic,Viera...etc,it was because of the star name power that attracted so much attention.

man u still lead chelsea by 6 points after they both flogged their opposition

alot of transfer rumors are rife, mainly in the striking department, Torres,Huntelaar and Eto'o are rumored to be being chased by about...a bazillion clubs. also gareth bale's name keeps popping up,as does freddy adu.Deco is a big name, hes alrady stated he d lik e amove away from the Nou Camp, with a host of teams from Germany and England looking at his services.C.Ronaldo keeps popping up(Real and Barca continually linked with him),although its safe to assume that he ll be at OT til 2010 at the very least, negotiations are ongoing to extend that

anyone have Euro 08 predictions or Asian Cup 07 predictions? i cant honestly see any real favourites in Euro, some look strong, but alot have had off days. Asia 07 is most likely down to Iran,S Korea,Japan and Australia

predictions for the 2nd legs Javier?

sure inter did buy and buy...but inter's always done that, I don't remember how many seasons I've seen 10+ players come in and same amount out, and they still never win anything

there's no guarantee Ronaldo's gonna stay with Man u just cause he's got a contract til 2010

CONCACAF semifinals predictions:

http://www.mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/28_c.gifChivas Advances-Above all, this is MY team. The team in which I fell in love with soccer with. They're coming off a 1 - 0 loss to their rival America but physically, they are the better team. They have the most players playing in their national team from any other club in the world (Currently 7), and they're playing at home. DC United is still in their pre-season and that might serve to their disadvantage. The current Mexican league champions (Chivas) are going to have to work a little after their previous 1 - 1 tie with DC United. Scheduled game in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mex.

If Chivas scores in the game early, expect no mercy from the Mexican squad as they are one of the most deadly counter-attacking teams out their with their speedy wing-men, creative forward "bofo" bautista and his exceptional passing, as well as both their point forwards, Alberto Medina and Omar Bravo.

http://www.mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/353_c.gif Dynamo Advances-Houston Dynamo just came from 2 - 0 victory over Pachuca at home. Although they are in their pre-season as well, they have a comfortable 2 - 0 margin. The team knows how to defend well, and even though they will be playing away from home, I'm pretty sure that they will pull away with the victory. To add to Pachuca's concern, they are the current MLS champion. It seems the battle of champions (Pachuca with the 'Copa Sudamericana' (South American Cup) Title and Dynamo with their national title) will conclude in a heavily disputed battle taking place in Hidalgo, Pachuca, Mex.

I expect a Pachuca with the initiative to at least get one goal to start with. If they score early as well, they might gain their momentum as they are (along with Chivas) a very good counter-attacking team. If Dynamo is able to hold them off though, we will see an American victory

yes! it would pit both the champions from Mexico and the USA to a 2 leg finale. If im correct, we're in for an awesome series! uhh... for any soccer fans who might be interested, you might want to look into it. The final will air on Fox Sports Channel most likely. The semis will be shown on Fox Sports en Español. SAP is available :D
