As in how popular you are or how much you post is not a basis for your green status.

... least they say it isnt.

blue?green?red?yellow im compleatly lost? what do all these colours mean and does it really make any difference? i know im not here as often as most of you but i do try to keep on top of things but this has got me compleatly baffled?????

We will be implementing new features very soon that will end the whole green/elite selection issue :) .

Should be today or tomorrow. ;)

Yup, ill never get it, simply because im not here very often.
Oh, and im not one of the popular people.

Being an elite has nothing to with that. You see, the 'popular' people are well-liked and known on the forums because they make good posts, post frequently, and display good attitude. It isn't because they are 'popular', it is because they are outstanding members.

You can still be Elite. Just be a good and active member. :)

The word elite is exactely what i mean, seperating user like this is part of why i dont like coming here, i feel so below everyone else. Why ? Just because im too busy to come here 24/7 like the "Elite members" Who get a ton more respect and special treatment, just because they post a lot more.

I am not elite and i get tons of respect, it doesnt really seperates memebers, becoming elite is to show, that you have not flamed,or made bad post, or spam...

Yes, I agree. I feel completely respected, liked and at home here. :)

That's actually what I like about LPF, that the "higher members" don't really act like that. The elites and mods are very approachable and helpful, and I don't believe that the regular members are in any way looked down upon.

exactly i have to agree with this. everyone is treated the same, they just get colors based on perticipation, content, and how they treat the other members. I know for a fact that the quanity of the post dosent matter cuz i became an elite when i only had about 200 posts. plus you have to contribute in more then just one thread, at least thats how I feel.

But Ya, I have to agree with what Minzara and Becks said.

Being elite doesn't change anything but the color of your name really. You get a lot of respect even if your not green or a different color if you act nice, don't flame and post anything bad. ^_^

i completly agree with this, i dont' really care about my name being a different color or getting acess to other parts of the site, it would be nice, but as long as i'm repected and liked here then i'm happy :D

i dont think i wil ever reach green lol...my posts arent really all that valuable hehe

*slightly off topic* ive been gone for 2 weeks and there are blue orange etc etc colours...took me a while to find out what green and yellow meant hahahaha

Orange are for Newcasters, and blue is for the Site Owner.
