oh ya and that Lpf awards thing, thats another thing i was talking about when i brougt up the popularity thing.
Sexiest male and female, best member, best this most that, Seriousely, its like highschool. The whole popularity thing. No wonder i feel like an outcast.
Its not just the color of the names i am talking about, its the popularity theme in general. Its probably just me, and it doesnt really matter how i feel anyways, im no one important. But i have no problem letting people know how i feel.

and trust me HIGHSCHOOL is MUCH different. I hate the highschool surveys because they are mindles..

True, it does work off popularity to some asspect, but there is allways best employee, and stuff like that, everyone singles people out, to say there the best of this or that, its a fact of life, it might be stupid or silly, but thats how it is. It also makes people feel good, knowing there good at something, yes the loser might not feel as good, but they were atleast nominated. That was my no selfish opinion, myselfish one, if i think the world should be divide in who does what best, without it, we wouldnt have character, we wouldn't have are Albert Einsteins(sp?) who has been label as the smartiest person. Thought he might not be...... will thats it for my rant... lol

Yes, I'd agree with that. I voted on who I genuinely thought should win, not just the people I like the most (and I like pretty much everyone on here.)
Besides, the LPF awards were just a bit of fun. The people who won awards aren't exactly boasting about it or anything. I have been on many forums where I felt uncomfortable and unwanted. I come here so much because I know I'm going to be treated with respect no matter what the colour of my name is.

^ I'm sorry you feel like an outcast. I guess you have to be more of a regular member on here to get why we like it here so much and feel like a family. Loads of us interact on places like aim or whatever. And we stop by each others Journals to get to know a member. If you want to "fit in" more, perhaps you should make a small effort to get to know people on here xD!

I was blue just a month ago and I don't believe I've acted differently since then o_0 A lot of my friends are blue but that doesn't change my perspective of them. I don't really know why you feel that except the friend thing so yeah. It's not about popularity at all. It's just the colour of your name lol. Kind of like viewing somebody by their skin colour, unless you're just racist, then that's a different matter but eh. Think of it like that.

Um, you dont know if i "tried" or not. There are plenty of lpf members i have and do speak to on aim, as well as some ive even brought to the site. I even text one on my cell phone every few days, we've become good friends. Please dont assume that just because my post count isnt above 1000 doesnt mean i am not an active part of this site. i just cant be here 24/7.

well roxy, you expressed your opinon, they are expressing theirs, and ok it is a bit of a popularity thing, because to be elite or a mod or a newscaster, you have to contribute to the site, not just be a bystander

I've let this go on too far, everyone has their own opinions, yes, & they are even entitled to have those opinions. Okay Roxy, you think it is a popularity thing, okay, then to you, it will be a popularity thing. If you want to be an Elite member, let me give you some suggestions, stop complaining, be more active, & most importantly, be a good member, as in, show respect for the forum, the staff, & above all else, the other members. End of disscussion.
