We need a music post

I liked this shiek.. you should post the lyrics with it.. Good song. I liked the color in the guitars.. to me it means they find happiness in the music they make with them to break up the colorless life that is depression.. Cool vid.
Kinda reminds me of the lone color in Shindlers list.. The little girl with the red coat, then the red coat on the wagon of corpses.. Powerful.

I really found these two vids powerful, and really like both songs.. They touch my soul for sure, as do many others.. They're both on the lyrics post but I'll put them here for you..

What it's like

Everlast

YouTube - EverLast

I assume these people in the vid he sings about committed suicide.. the scenes of drowning in the water.. Cept for Max, who pulled out his colt 45, talked some and wound up dead, but is "alive" at the end of the vid..

In the Everlast song, nobody commits suicide. The first guy, if he dies, it's because he's poor and homeless. The second person doesn't die, the decision is about wether or not to murder her baby and have an abortion. The third person died cause he was trying to be a bad ***.

The girl is dead.. all the people at the end are dead.. looking at the guy who crossed their path at some point in their life.. You don't see him with the girl but when she gets bumped on the street.. guess who. She already had the abortion.. look at the lyrics.. How did she die?

The old guy too.. that's who he asked to spare him change.. and was told.. "get a job you in' slob". The blonde guy with his family at the end.. Everyone standing there looking was dead.

I couldn't just pop in a tape and sit and listen to it that's for sure.

I guess it would be pretty cool watching it in person though.

The pace was too slow from me, I prefer the Irish Stepdancing ;)

LIke this ? It seems strange to me to listen to an Irish lass, speaking with an American accent. But I know a lot of Irish people live in the USA.

Yes, only not the beginners - lol. At my son's birthday party this year, one of his friends mom was from the phillipines (I understood her fine, she spoke very good enlish), another mom was from Ireland, sweetest little thing, but I could barely understand a word she said, so cute ;)

For a little country we have many accents here. The hardest one to understand is the Geordie accent. These are the people of Nort East England.

Im OK with Londoners, the Scots, Welsh, Irish, West Country,Brummies and Scousers. I just cant understand Geordies, lol

Its just so embarrasing saying pardon me several times in a row.
