****. Stupid English defence. i mean they've got player like Terry Ferdinand and still the conceeded a goal. Man, england should've won. England really suck at dealing with corners.lol. ANyways, that's it for Sweden. they may have reached the last 16 but they play Germany next, who will totally bash em'. And England plays Equador. hm, i go for England but Equador has been doing pretty well lately.

I'm English but I hope Ecuador win. Sven has to go ASAP, the man has about as much coaching sense as a satsuma.

Sweden got to the quarterfinals in 04 and lost against Holland ;)

i just got home from germany. i mean england and sweden did good. but paraguay was just ******. trinidad and tobago did very well. most new comers did well. but in the end its going to be germany vs. brazil and it will be anyones game.

i was in berlin when paraguay played against sweden....i feared for my life because everywhere you looked it was a sea of yellow.....and they were all drunk. but if you watch that game. sweden really just got lucky. no offense to anyone. anyways brazil isnt doing as good as expected they're just just starting to get into the routine. germany is really pushing (for the record ballack and klose are shmexy) and mexico and ecuador are really phenomenol (sp?) all in all i really hope germany wins the whole thing. :thumbsup:

sorry for the double post but no they dont. germany had to actually play selection games to make it to the tournament. they changed that rule after france 98 i think ooo and i cant wait for south africa 10 WOOO THEN BRAZIL IN 14!!!!

i was in the city watching that game at 3 in the morning with like 2000 other people :p

i didnt go the first two games that they played, which im a bit disappointed about

but im really glad i went out last night, coz it was just a great game

Yeah...but without Guus Hiddink Aus would not have gotten this far. Guus is an amazing coach, he can really work miracles.

Germany and Brazil have a good shot + Argentina. Top 3, I think. Spain's gonna fail soon....definately.

But, it just shows the immense strength of the Brazillian side, that no matter how bad they play, they win. It's been that way this tournament. They've been pretty poor, considering the squad they have.

Maybe South Africa has to qualify, but Germany didn't. And neither did South Korea and Japan last time.

since i'm from the USA, i was really hoping that we'd advance, but we kinda sucked in that game. although, the refs kinda screwed us over a couple games back, we got two red cards, both of which we didn't deserve. that kinda screwed us up.

the ref ****** with Australia too

both in the Brazil and Croatia games

last night, there was two clear penalties that they didnt pay!!
