the ref ****** with Australia too

I KNOW !!! how **** was the ref??? :eek:

but croatia get a red card and the player was sent off, so we had equal 10 players on both sides.

like one thing the ref missed was, our goalie did something to a croatian player who was getting ready to **** the ball and that was meant to be a foul.

I personally didnt watch it, i was fast asleep. I turned on sunrise and yeah, they were decorated with gold and green and a guy ran around the studio with his top over his head. there was this fan outside who had this HUGGE mask of Harry Kewell on, looked like his head was 10x the actual size of his normal head.

since i'm from the USA' date=' i was really hoping that we'd advance, but we kinda sucked in that game. although, the refs kinda screwed us over a couple games back, we got two red cards, both of which we didn't deserve. that kinda screwed us up.[/quote']pff, those red cards were not undeserved

besides, the US team just isn't good enough, that's why they didn't advance

I'm with Brasil and Holland(Netherlands).

I was so happy with Brasil's game against Japan the other day.Ronaldo has got his touch back,now people can stop calling him useless.:thumbsup:

I'm jumping onto the Ghana bandwagon too,they are actually pretty good.

yep they did!

But Sweden did play good, I mean, compare to Germany, they are pretty much nothing but they had good defense and Isaksson was incredible!

I think If they would pay more attention in the beginnnig, I dont think Germany had goaled. Atleast not the first one. That was just pure luck.

The one thing I hated the most was that when Lucic was sent out, the judge or w/e you call him in english was grining! who the hellw ould do that?! o.0

and plus He was totally unfair against the sweds! the germans were like totally walking over Ljungberg and he said nothing at all!

I dont hate him that much. He's done his best. The ref. was horrible! One of the players did a ninja kick at Robben's chest! That shouldve been a red card for the rest of his life!

I think the ref in the Portugal-Holland game was poor towards both teams. He lost complete control of the players, and things got out of hand.

He pretty much ruined the game for everyone

Some interesting games today. Australia with Guss Hiddink against Italy, whom the Dutch coach famously defeated when he was in charge of South Korea for years ago.

Valentin Ivanov as someone said, did indeed ruin the game. A few tackles here and there deserved a card, but 16 yellows and 4 reds is over the top, way over the top.

Portugal's in trouble now, no Deco, no Costinha, and possibly no Ronaldo either...

Ivanov is a lousy ref, he's not good enough to ref the World Cup. He should be booted, like Graham Poll lol, wtf is that

And I mean, I hate that guy Ivanov, such a poor ref. If it wasn't for him, Iceland would probably have qualified for Euro 2004 :confused:

Italians pretty lucky to get that penalty, Lucas Neill basically did nothing wrong, he can't just magicly disappear out of the way so Grosso can continue.

I'm not really sure Italy would have won in extra time
