What's up guys?!?!?!

Quick question for you ALL. Would you rather race 2 (60 miles each) or 3 (40 miles each) legs??

Of course they are not going to be exact but close.

Here is an example of what I am going to draw up...

I prefer the 40 miler so we dont kill our selves.. just just me..

But i think depending on next years course we need to divide nicely the set up.

Reason for it is that the rider that will be taking the last section ill be a while for him to get to his section. So he migth do the first and last or the second rider do the second and last section..

Btw im in the works of getting an Axxis rear shock. Ill be better for a long ride as ours..

Thanks man. I like the input. I was thinking of having you be the first and the last rider either way. Is that cool??

Also, how many air filters are you going to have on hand for the actual race?? I am going to add what needs to be done to the bike at certain intervals of the race.

Side note: I got my twist throttle (sigh) lol. I have a buddy that is had an unused unopened one that he is going to let me use. I tore the bike apart, got ready to put it on and opened the box and he forgot to send me the grips!!! SOB

It's been raining here for 2 days and perfect riding conditions. So I threw everything back on and went for a good long (50 mile) ride. Man it feels good to be riding.

I'm down for whatever, we should be good and fresh if we do it that way. You're gonna love an axis shock . I love the set I have on my quad. They are so plush, and responsive. It just made me faster and more in control, factory are just uncivilized once you run the axis for a while. How's everybody doing?

I'm still waiting for my motor to get done the port work is taking forever, and I'm still waiting on the crank, other than that I have all the parts for the rebuild. I haven't ridden in a few weeks and it's killing me.

I hear ya man!! Where it's getting dark at 4pm it's difficult to get out and ride. Plus, I don't get off work till 9pm.

Sounds like you are going to have a bad a$$ bike once you're done.

How were you doing with the twist throttle change?? What grips did you go with?? Do you like them??

Perfect! what do you think about buying the filters with the money from the Baja fund and bringing them down with you?? That way you know they are the right ones. I would hate for someone to buy the wrong one.

I am so freaking jealous of your guys bikes!!!!!!!!!! I would do just about anything to put some LT suspension under my bike.

I haven't even had a chance to put it on the motor went and I've been concentrating on getting that fixed, I did get a set of tag grips they are pretty nice I've run with them before, but I'm also looking at the oury grips they are larger in diameter and they are like big fluffy pillows, they were real nice on those long rides.

Start shopping ebay and it's so worth it, I have to work half as hard as most of my friends I ride with. But mine are useless on a mx track they just aren't set up to take big drops they just get maxed out, in the woods and the trails though they are nothing short of amazing.

I am working on two things right now. I have sent a resume into zbroz racing for a sponsorship. He told me that I would get it but I don't know what type of discount yet. His sister was crossing a road Wednesday and was hit by a car and it killed her.

Then there is a guy on the org that is wanting to get rid of his LT and go back to ST. He bought his a-arms and shocks from JB performance. (Bill is love your comment on their page on the org. you had me laughing with that one). Its a LT +2. I am waiting to hear back from him. Sounds like we will do a trade straight across + cash. We will see though.

Mamito. I just got my helmet from RM. I went with the EVS. It is very comfortable and feels much better than the Thor one I have. I would recommend it if you're still looking for one.

Bill, I have the ODI grips and love them. I am sold on the fact that you slide them on and tighten them down. When you want to change them out you unscrew them and you're done. There is no taping or gluing. I'll have to take a look at the ones you have though. Thanks for sharing.

I cant wait for this to all go down. June will be here before we know it and we will be sitting in Ensenada with knots in our stomachs waiting for our turn to race. hahahah

Chris where are you man?!?!?!?!

Yeah man im still looking for a helmet. Saw a few on RMatv for 70's and 80's that look nice..

But still debating. Since ill be my 3rd helmet, lol. And just for one race. :-\

But defently for a Snell 2015 that Evs is my top choice

30 degrees and iced over...yeah not sure I would be riding either. I hate having to put layer and layer on to go ride. That's why I love where I live. I can ride all year! During the winter months I may have to throw on a hoody.

Mamito, 2015?!?!?! I thought you said 2010?? The one I just got has the SNELL / DOT 2010 sticker on it.
