  1. On one of the local radio stations they do this weekly thing entitled "War of the Roses." (other stations across the country prolly do this too, but I dunno) Anyway, here is how it works: Someone calls in that wants to "test" the fidelity of their partner. Most of the time it's women doing the calling. They call in, give their sob story about how think their hubby/boyfirend/life partner is cheating on them, and then the radion station takes over. They call the hubby/boyfirend/life partner and tell them that they just won a free dozen roses to be sent to anyone that they want to anywhere in the country (meanwhile the one testing is listening in.) The test comes when they decide to whom they are going to send the roses to. Do they send them to their wife/girfriend/life partner? Or do the free roses go to someoone else? Today's dude failed. He picked to send them to someone his wife didn't know. She was pissed. Well, one of the guys at work was listening to this as I was, and he got really pissed that the radio station would interfere in this guys life the way they did. I told him that if the dide was on the up and up, he wouldn't have had anything to gripe about. What do you think? Is this "game" that the radio station is playing worth it?
  2. I'll tell you what I tell everyone that comes to me asking for computer help... QUIT LOOKING AT PORN!!
  3. I'M WHITE??? Why the hell didn't someone tell me sooner??? AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. and I for one apprecaite it. and your pics prove to me that there is a God and he loves your husband more than he does me...
  5. The white man should be done away with. Just look at all the hate and death caused by the white man- The native amewricans robbed of their land, many massacared needlessly. The white man suppressed black folk for centuries, not to mention women. The American Civil war was started by white men. as was the American Revolution. The crusades. The Titanic was designed by a white man. Airplanes were invented by white brothers. Had they not been around, all those people on 9/11 would still be alive. George Bush is a white man. as is his father. The pope is a white man. Hitler was a white man. Kill whitey indeed.
  6. if only that wasn't her. I'd be able to sleep better at night.... sigh
  7. I've been to Hicksville, GA...
  8. Isn't that what I just said????
  9. When studying and comparing different books of the Bible (like the many accounts of the 4 Gospels that you list in your common list of "errors" J5) it is important to look at who worte each of the books. For instance: Mark wrote Mark. Luke wrote Luke. John wrote John. Different people. Different viewpoints. Yes, God inspired them, but each added their uniquie view of what they were writing. Thus, these are more likely differing points of view as opposed to actual errors. Example: Matthew was a tax collector. Very detailed in his record keeping. He would list the "official" father of Joseph- Jacob. Luke, however, was a doctor, and the books he wrote go farther to recognize the women and their actions of the day. He recognized Mary's father, Heli, as the lineage of Jesus. (This would be Josephs "Father-in-law,") Not an error, just two differnt people giving their unique views of the same event. Say you and I get called into the police station to give testimony about an robbery that we witnessed last Tuesday. If we both give the exact same word for word speech to two different officers, they are going to we practiced it, compared it, rigged it, etc, and are hiding something. But, if me being a mechanic makes me notice more about the getaway car, and you being (an example as I have no idea what you do) a clothing designer makes you notice more about the suspects descriptions and we both intertwine our unique viuewpoints into what we tell the cops- then it is apparent that what we saw really happened.
  10. that's disgusting...
  11. I like to wipe my ass with Phentermine

  14. ummmm.... Yeah.
  15. so you've read the "original" hebrew, aramaic, sanscrit, or Greek texts and know them to be false? or misinterpreted? or purposely changed? Could be true that you have devoted your life to studying all aspects of the bible, but somehow I doubt it. As for me, I don't just read the bible, I study it. Read different versions, differnt peoples thoughts and opinions of what I am reading and then create my own thoughts on it based on where God is leading me. I know I am not smart enough to know or even understand every part of bible, but I am secure enough in myself to be ok with that.
  16. For immediate habitation. God made the earth, then put animals and people on it right away. What good would be starting a planet if you had to wait to put anything on it? Thanks for adding to the conversation... wow dude, I hear Midol works wonders....
  17. guess it depends on who it was. Sounds like this was a grown adult, so I would go with attention whore.
  18. I am gonna say that you are wrong. If I say I am an expert, I had better be prepared to back up what makes me an expert. If one can't (or won't) back it up, then they should not be calling themselves an expert. That's just bad form.
  19. That was your only reply to this? Thanks for your input, sparkie...
  20. I cannot disagree that compression turns smaller minerals into rocks. But i can disagree how the "thousand year old" rocks got there. Like I said before: I believe that when God created the earth, he built age into it (or even that the "age" markers were created during formation of the planet.) Thus he created the rocks, the diamonds, and all else that we see that we think are millions and milions of years old. Fact is- if you don't start off with a piece of coal and wait tens of thousads of years and watch that very piece of coal become a diamond, you really can't be exactly sure where that particualr diamond came from. Ok, I got what you are saying. I disagree, but I understand. again, I disagree. I understand that there have been times where it was "Be the faith of the country or die!" (and that has been in place for more than just Christianity over the centuries.) My point is that there have been more people trying to discredit Christianity than there has been any other faith. More scientists, researchers, scholars trying to prove Jesus didn't exist, or it happened differently than what the Bible states, and none of them have come up with anything concrete. Not many faiths can make the claim that so many have tried to tear it apart to only go home empty handed. This reply actually surprised me. I duno if I have ever heard of Christianity called a "civilized religion" from someone who doesn't follow it. Christians are well known for being "behind the times" in relation to beliefs, moral code, and political issues. Cool.
  21. That wasn't far from the "I know you are but what am I?" comback, and was pretty darn pathetic. and that one just didn't even make any sense... I am a Christian and I have no problem thinking for myself.
  22. Nah, Personally I think a store like that would be a total bomb...
  23. Narrow top lip. Hmmm, Frank Burns' daughter perhaps? She looks like an actress. For the life of me I cannot think of her name or anythign that she is in. But I can picture her with a concerned look on her face... DAMMIT! I hate when that happens...
