This right here causes so many problems TJ- and I am gonna try to do this without getting nasty: Your mind is an interesting place to live. In there, everything and anything you say is ok, because it is "truth" to you. In there, you can be a pompous jerk, but as long as it is "truthful", then it is okie dokie. Unfortunately, just because you think something is "truth," doesn't necessarily make it so. Example: The MrsK incident at thejungle. You jumped in, and yes you did jump Ali's and my ass, and you had no clue anything about the situation or past discussions- and yes, those do absolutely play into current discussions. That is true for that situation, and it is true for many others. Your "truth" was not real truth, but to you it was, so any reaction you had was justified. Heck, yesterday you slammed me by suggesting that my birthday wishes weren't sincere. What did you base that assumption on? Yep, our past history. The same thing you are here slamming Ali for doing. In your mind- you know the intentions of everything everyone types on these boards. in there, you are some sort of expert on knowing what people mean, even if they tell you that what you think they meant isn't what they meant. In your mind, you know better. Unfortunately again, this "truth" of what you think others always mean can be wrong. It's subjective to what is going on in your mind, and suffice it to say, your mind is not my mind, Ali's mind, or even Bender's mind. In your mind, you draw these conclusions of people based on something you think they said, and then exaggerate it from there until, in your mind, you know everything everyone could possibly know, think, and believe. And in your mind, that is "true", but in reality, you are closing yourself off to the actual people here. Example: Yes, Bender likes Obama. Does that mean he agrees with everything he says or does? No. The posts prove that Bender keeps a pretty open mind about Obama, and has even questioned some of the things he does. But in your mind- Bender is the single biggest Obama kool-aid drinker to ever walk the earth. Your mind has painted him as such, so it must be "true." Another Example: Hugo thinks one cop could have handled a situation with a Harvard professor differently. Suddenly he is a cop hater or unequaled proportions. In your mind, it's "true." To the rest of the universe, it isn't. As much as you would like it TJ, your mind doesn't control what the rest of us say, think, or do. So stop thinking it does. I'm gonna need some sort of verification on that before I retract my earlier statement. Thanks.

ya know, there was a point in my life where I didn't know what a donkey punch or dirty sanchez was... I miss those days...

I got caught up in watching the replay of 9/11/01 on one of the news stations this morning (and was almost late to work because of it, lol) Even now, 8 years later, watching it brings up so many feeling of awe, sadness, and complete shock. As they talked about all airports being shut down, the White House and Capitol being evacuated, and everyone just watching the days events happen, it brings back that same feeling of helplessness that I had that original morning- where I could do nothing but listen to the events on the radio. This morning I saw many firefighters heading towards the WTC, even after the first tower collapsed, and I just couldn't help but wonder if all of those men and women made it back out. I heard sirens in the background of reporters as emergency personnel rushed towards the towers to aid people, and could help but wonder if those guys had families that never got to see them again. May God bless those who serve this great country. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. Thank you.

You cannot let the animosity run the relationship, Snaf. I know you love your daughter, but until she wants to get help- she ain't gonna do it. TJ and Emkay gave some great advice. Do not beat yourself up over this buddy. It's hard as hell (I have a friend here at work that is going through pretty much the same things with her daughter and her b/f) It's hard, but they have to live their own lives- even if the way they are living it isn't good for them.

yep, it very well could be. But, it's not. and how do you know? well, you don't. because you won't. See, many of us have taking the time to know and trust each other over the years. Sure we disagree at times, but we know each other away from here- because we want to. You have never wanted to be anything more than a troll, so that is how you get treated- and yes, you started it. You have looked down your nose at every one of us, all the while claiming how great and awesome you are- while offering zero proof to anyone of who or what you really are. Ali and I have had fights. hell, the epic site tri-site wars pitted Ali and I against each other. Chi and I have had some pretty epic disagreements in the past. But yet we moved through it. You, however, say you want to move through it, and then at first chance- there you are looking down your nose at us- again with no proof of who you really are. You are arrogant, stubborn, and frankly, a whiner. I won't come right out and call you a liar, but your off site actions are certainly suspect. You are involved in anything and everything, and are an expert on everything under the sun. You claim to be above name calling, but you are among the first to delve into it. You claim to speak for men everywhere, but get upset when others make generalizations that include you. You pick at people for their weight, but by your own admission, you too are obese. You post over and over when people dodge questions, yet you dodge them all the time yourself. You detest when people put words in your mouth, but you are the king of knowing what everyone else means and thinks when they post. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and a sperm sample for good measure. Joe hurries back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results. The computer prints the following: 1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. (Aisle 9) 2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. (Aisle 7) 3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab. 4. Your wife is pregnant. Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer. 5. Chi is absolutely right: post a pic fatass. If you are so proud of who you are, post a pic. Post a pic in front of the last mosque you built. Or in front of Tami's tits that you bought (feel free to motorboat for the pic.) or in front of the church you go to and help run. Post pics of you when you were bodybuilding, and then a current one to compare. or in front of the baby seals that you saved. or in front of any multitude of stories that you have told us about yourself... put up or shut up.
