What happened that night was, they got home at 3:30 am about 45 minutes to an hour after the police arrived, who were looking for a way in and confirming that no one was indeed home except the boy in bed you could see through a broken spot in the blinds.. When they got home, she fed the cops some crap that the neighbor girl, who had 5 or 6 kids of her own, was "checking on him" and had just done so, and when the cops asked the neighbor if that was true, she lied for her.. Cops knew she was full of .. I heard one say, "we've been here almost an hour and no one has checked on him in that time"... and even if so, a neighbor in a seperate apt. with 6 kids isn't gonna do him any good if there was a fire. Why wasn't he at her apt. if she was watching him? Funny thing too.. that neighbor was the one telling people that they did this crap "all the time".. then she lies for them? Whatever.. The cops went in and I'm sure saw the lock on the door.. Prolly scolded her a bit and left.. Hopefully child welfare got involved after that but I have no idea.. Least maybe they thought twice before they did it the next time.. doubt it though.
