  1. Wez, I will reply to you here and drop it so do not expect another direct reply to you, at least not for awile. I blocked you because you are not interested in discussion. Even as much as I believe Bender is blinded, he is still making conversation. You are only interested in attention, nothing else. The more heated or angry the responses get, the happier you are because there is something in your life that makes you feel needy for attention so you become this out of control madman on the internet saying whatever you have to say to get attention. You can't make me angry, nothing you say can have any effect, but I know beyond all other things that the best way to irritate you is to ignore you, because that attention from me or anyone else is all your ever after. So rant and rave, pound against the bars I have placed between us, I do not care because I laugh every time I see your name with the 'on your blocked list' where your post would normally be..........because I know it eats you up inside. Have a nice day
  2. Playing the race card has always worked for Obama in the past, during the time he was fighting for the nomination he was pressed on many issues he refused to answer and tossed out the race card as a smoke screen. Now he is truly at a loss. He lost his momentum and messiah popularity by most thinking Americans with this garbage Insurance reform that was once healthcare reform and is now changing again into being a moral mandate to help the poor. In his exchange with some religious groups he pressed them to help him pass this bad legislation because it is what Jesus would want......what a laugh. Every time we blink Obama is reinventing his pet project to increase the control big Government has on our lives. Reading some replies to one of the many news stories I have seen a guy who claimed to be a Democrat made a great point against Obamacare: So you trust Obama now, but Obama will not be in control of this program, very likely Obama is a one term President and it will be conservatives in control of a monster that "they, not Obama" will impliment, that is if they do not revoke it all before it can go into effect. Do you trust Bush with your healthcare? Well someone very much like Bush will be in office before this program will go into action so when you vote for government healthcare today, your really voting to give Conservatives, not Liberals more control over your life..............is that what you really want?
  3. This is a joke thread, if you want to debate why people do not like Oprah, make a new thread and I will gladly join in on the discussion.
  4. A driver is stuck in a traffic jam going into downtown Chicago . Nothing Is Moving north or south. Suddenly a man knocks on his window. The driver rolls down his window and asks, 'What happened, what's the hold Up?' 'Terrorists have kidnapped Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton,Oprah Winfrey, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Rosie O'Donnell, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They are asking for a $10 Million ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them with gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, taking up a collection.' The driver asks, 'On average, how much is everyone giving?' 'About a gallon'
  5. The usual Liberal double standards, lol
  6. He knows I can't see what he posts because I have him blocked. The only way he can directly post something for me to read is to post this way. Just goes to show that all his ranting against me on the forum was not really to talk to me.
  7. According to Obama, all white cops are racists, not a big jump to say all whites are racists too.
  8. And to show their inspiration. I already said I support alternative bondings. Sex with the same sex, sex with a cow, sex with a pile of poo, it is all the same deviant sexual soup some humans will follow. I do not have to like or support the sexual deviant lifestyles to see there is a legal obligation for our Government to offer the same protections to same sex bondings as they offer to those who are married. And yet your saying "Have you read the First Amendment? Do you understand it?" was not condescending at all right? lol I have a full and complete understanding of the 1st amendment, and as I just pointed out, that has nothing to do with the conversation so why would you bring it up? Only you can answer to your moral or immoral intent. All doing so bolstered by their faith. Without faith, America was mostly populated by people looking for religous freedoms, at least those who took leadership rolls were and the resistence against England were all very involved in their religious rights. "GEORGE WASHINGTON, letter to the Speaker of the House of Burgesses, Dec. 1756 The ways of Providence being inscrutable, and the justice of it not to be scanned by the shallow eye of humanity, nor to be counteracted by the utmost efforts of human power or wisdom, resignation, and as far as the strength of our reason and religion can carry us, a cheerful acquiescence to the Divine Will, is what we are to aim. I was not there, but I can say that God made man, man made the many religions in his futile attempt to understand God.
  9. The only time the USPS did well was when it was the only game in town. Once they started facing competition for some of their areas, the problems started but the biggest blow the USPS has faced has been the union. If you fired every postal employee tomorrow and put the CEO of FedEx in charge of rebuilding the USPS from the ground up, the USPS could lower prices and make money. It is not the mail delivery that sucks, it is the management and employees that have killed it.
  10. And your point? What does that have to do with defending marriage as being a founding principle being between man, woman, and God? My point was to show that from our humble beginnings we have had God as an important part, even in our founding documents so I see no reason to erase this example of morals any more than I see any reason to erase the moral example that the Constitution represemts. Yep, but maybe you don't understand it if you think the Government "Recognizing" religious pairings is the same thing as making a law doing so. "Marriage existed before our Constitution, not after. All we are doing now is "Recognizing" the religious bonding that already existed. That is why I support other types of social bondings as legal as well, no harm in that. They just should not use the same term as the already established religious term. Never said it did so what is your point? My point is the involvement of religion in the shaping of America and how that religious element was part of our success. The idea of bondings is as old as time itself, but the exact term "marriage" is and has always been a religious term
  11. Exactly RO, the Government made it illegal to compete against the mail service in many ways but even with those restrictions, FedEx and UPS have done very well for themselves. If the Government got out of the way in regular mail delivery, we would see prices drop instead of climb and service severely improve to the customers. One thing that I always see in any Government run, public access location is the Government employees are almost always not very friendly. They give off the air of owning their job and not having to earn it with good service or pleasant treatment of 'customers'. The UPS and FedEx guys are always happy and curtious, willing to help and ready to take care of you very fast. Even when I have to travel to a local distribution to pick something up that could not be delivered, the people at the counter are twice as nice as those same people you find at the post office. If the USPS is dying, it is because they are shooting themselves in the foot because like RO said, they have a monopoly on things and still cannot figure out how to make ends meet when they do not have to cut a profit.
  12. You mean like the Constitution? Is that a tired old antiquated religious dogma too? Should we not ask out Government to uphold this demagoguery in all it's forms? Every law from the beginning of time has it's basis in religious moral beliefs. Sure recent times have diluted the moral factor but still they have their foundations in community and a wider belief on what is right for the whole on a moral level. The Constitution was such an action of moral expression based in many thing to include religious beliefs. Prayers were held before and after the meetings of the members to ask for God's help and wisdom to form their work and yet today people like to pretend God has nothing to do with America's success....... I have no problem with civil unions where "legal" rights are afforded to same sex relationships on the legal side of the coin, but I do not support their use of the term "marriage" because that term was a religious term to describe a relationship between man, woman, and God long before the constitution was ever written.
  13. Great minds think alike my friend, at least some of the time, lol. How have you been, I have not seen you around and thought you hit the bricks away from this place?
  14. Well first of all Wez knows I can't see anything he posts, so everything he says is to entertain or otherwise play with people like you Chi. Too bad there are people who can't see that even though it is so clear. This is why I will never have anything to do with someone like him. Even though he knows I will only see what other people quote, he still is a never ending hate/attack machine, the energizer bunny of hate........he is right, I am not him, I can't keep up that constant stream of negative without end, I have a real life to live and better things to do with my time..... Now, back to the topic instead of the flames and flame baiting that is not supposed to be a part of the forum but is allowed for certain people as long as it is against me: I said, "The USPS should be privatized, face it, the Federal Government has never been capable of operating anything on a large scale in an efficient way." snaf said I was wrong so I wanted to clarify what part snaff thought I was wrong about and if it was the efficient part I had a couple studies ready to post that proved the USPS has been bleeding money from for the entire history of it's existence.
  15. Well on topic I believe this goes back to the "booty call" mentality many women have turned to these days, if you don't even want a dinner before you let a stranger screw you, why not a bad line and even buy the guy drinks? Maybe his indifference to the woman to be so crude painted him as not really interested in sex with her so now he was a challenge........ I don't have a clue why women fall for that stuff, I guess because they want to, but guys, them I understand, guys want sex, and many (not all) will "hit" anything they can get to hold still long enough. Find the ugliest woman in the bar and watch her......maybe not when the night is young, but as the night wears on, guys will start hitting on her and at closing time, she will be snatched up by someone (if she wants it). snaf.... I don't really understand.......is your wife taking "Jack's" side? You seem to be saying the guy is just looking for excuses, that would be supportive of "Jill", why would your wife not like you being supportive of her best friend? Sounds strange to be honest. I don't get involved in relationships with friends, it is a dead end road that forces people to choose sides and even get ugly with one party. I refuse. The only people who know what was happening with these two people are them, it is impossible to know all the little details that could be upsetting one or the other but they are not sharing all the details......let me give you an example from me being strange: I hate.....let me say this again, I hate it when someone brushes their teeth then spray little spit/paste dots on my mirror. I also hate the blop of ketchup under the lid of a squeeze bottle, gross. Little details like that may not be noticed while two people are still in the 'lust' phase of their relationship but sooner or later as things cool off to a more standard relationship, the little irritations start showing up and suddenly, excuses to not stay together will appear.
  16. In the story he posted: lol
  17. The difference is that Dylan was raised to respect the police because they are not just people but they also represent community, That other idiot was raised on the idea of hating the police, of fighting against community and the establishment.
  18. In what way? Are you saying that the post office is run efficiently?
  19. I am not a big fan of Unions, to me they milk the company dry until they actually kill it off, take the UAW for prime example. FedEx and UPS do not have anywhere near the employee overhead that the USPS has and yet they are more reliable, faster, and they seem to be much happier. There is a solid reason for the saying "going postal" in my opinion. The USPS should be privatized, face it, the Federal Government has never been capable of operating anything on a large scale in an efficient way.
  20. There have been many ideas out of the Conservatives but let's look at it from the worse possible angle of no plan or ideas as you claim.........Why would that really be a bad thing against them? That is like asking why we don't have SUV's that operate on water instead of gas.........maybe there just is not a "good answer to the question "YET". I believe the first step should be massive tort reform and removing State restrictions that keep 95% of the competition stifled. Then go after redundant testing and over medicating/over doctoring patients just to have something to bill for. None of this requires massive new Government spending or increasing it's power beyond what it already has at it's disposal.
  21. Well he did mess up by letting two of them live, if he had been better with it he could have killed all 4.
  22. Well we know the police can't protect you, but they will be glad to dispose of your body after the fact, lol. Even after you get basic training make sure to go out every now and then to practice with your gun. Many people get a gun, maybe shoot it a couple times when they buy it then put it away never to touch it again until they need it.
  23. No, not bug, bugger.......
  24. Bender, they make electronic hearing protection that work well with teaching people how to shoot and who want to block out the loud noise. Electronic Hearing Protection - Pro Ears, Peltor, Walker Game Ear The idea is you can talk normally and be heard but the loud noises are blocked. I have several pair, work great for the races as well? Actually they can. I never said they could skeet shoot, just that a shotgun was easier to use for protection than a handgun, as this real world example proves. One of the biggest reasons is the adrenaline rush that hits in a time of crisis will also have a handgun shaking all over the place. Two hands on a shotgun is much easier to keep steady and pointing it in the right direction is very instinctive. Also when it comes to self protection, the point is to stop the attacker by placing the energy of the bullet into the body. A 9mm is a nice round, but in close range it more often than not passes through the assailant and does not displace it's energy into the body. A shotgun is pellets moving very slow, their energy is more often than not completely discharged into the target causing a lot of damage and stopping the attacker very well.
  25. I believe he was talking about target type shooting. You don't have to be very accurate to hit your target. Take this real life situation, the guy purchased the shotgun many years ago and never used it until this day where he put three shots to perfect use without any training or practice. But, the 'spread' of the shots can cause you to be more likely to hit something, or someone you didn't intend to hit. Say if someone was walking outside on the sidewalk and one of the pellets had hit them. If you have the barrel pointed in the general right direction, you will hit them, or at the very least. make them their pants. The sound of a shotgun slide loading the weapon is the universal "oh sh!t" signal for all badguys
