come on guys, this isnt necessary, this thread was made to discuss and express opinions about 9/11, not go at each others throats, just calm down, respect each others opinions, and discuss them in a civil manner.

Underwriter Labs is the company that certified the steel that was used in the World Trade Center in a letter to Frank Gayle, of the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
"Additionally, I think we can all agree that even unfireproofed steel will not melt until reaching red-hot temperatures of nearly 3000F. Why someone would imply that 2000F would melt the high-grade steel used in those buildings makes no sense at all."
"This story just does not add up. If steel from those buildings did soften or melt, it was certainly not due to jet fuel fires of any kind, let alone the briefly burning fires in those towers."
Now lets go back to the Pentagon.
Boeing 757s have two Pratt and Whitney turbine engines on its wings made of steel and titanium alloy, weighing 6 tons each. Titanium has a melting point of 1688 C, which is 3070.4 degrees F. Kerosene, or burning jet fuel in this case, can burn at a maximum of 1120 degrees Celsius but only if the fuel is maintained. As you saw for yourself, the vast majority of the jetfuel erupted on impact of all the crashes on 9/11.
It is scientifically impossible for 6 tons of steel and titanium to be vaporized by kerosene, let alone the infrastructure of the two buildings.
Oh yeah, and the living terroists.
The descriptions of the terroists were made public on September 14th 2001. Waleed al-Shehri was reported by BBC to be alive and well at Casa Blanca, Moroco.
Abdul Aziz al Omari was also tracked down; he had lost his passport while studying to become an engineer in Denver. He said, "I couldn't believe it when the FBI put me on their list. They gave my name and my date of birth, but I am not a suicide bomber. I am here. I am alive. I have no idea how to fly a plane. I had nothing to do with this."
And the famous lead terroist Mohammed Atta, called his father on September 12th.
So how many hijackers turned out alive? At least 9 of them out of 19.
On September 20th, FBI Director Robert Muller admitted on CNN that "there is no legal proof to prove the identities of the hijackers."

Well said Wakka. Well backed and well informed. But I got a question for you: You have any information on any of the other living terroists? Because 9 outta 19 is a large number. Also I do have something to add about a post a while back. It was said that the government was behind 9/11 but not the WTC, my question to that is, how? I'm not coming out here accusing the government fully here, but theres no ******* way that on sheer coincidene the government decided to crash a plane intothe pentagon the same day terriorsts decided to bombe the WTC. The odds are way against that. And so people say why wouldAmerica bomb its own WTC and kill al those people? Well when you look at it all, it wasn't very much at all. I dont have the exact numbers right now but i believe around 7-10k people died that day. That isn't very much at all. Look at Libya recently. The dictator there recently killed at least over 20k people for really no reason. The leader of Ukrane killed 2k people in a square because they gathered to talk bad thngs about him. So when you put those things into it, 7k people isnt really all that much.

Holy **** people. The argument of the WTC isn't the MELTING of the steel, it's the WEAKENING of the steel. Do you have any idea what happens to the strength of steel when you heat it up? It becomes weaker than your entire argument!

Making this thread was a mistake. This thread was meant for discussion, not arguing. In response to one of LSUTiger's posts, I think we need NOT to grow ***** and come back at each other, but instead grow some and not be so ******* immature while getting off on arguing.

Yeah I got to agree with Habit here. I myself was looking forward to these disucssions, but people love to start arguments. Habit you started this thread with good intentions, and I myself would like to discuss this more. But yes, if this thread has been reduced to petty name calling and usless insults, than indeed this needs to stop. I also must ask a Mod to close down this thread, till people can become more mature and have actual discussions, not childish arguments. However before you do close this down, I would like to know what one of you 25+ year olds think of all of this. Does it really look as bad as I see it?

Well your intitled to your opinon. I will say that it was tragic that all those people lost their lives. However if the governemnt was behind it then their deaths should be avenged.
