I am christian, and i hate the preppy idiots that try to convert me even though i have been attending that same church since i was 5 and they have only for a week.

I hate how alot of christians talk about accepting others but when the time comes they use the excuse they are too goth,too gay,too anything to be saved.

I think religion is awesome, but figthing over it is ****..if someone likes their religion let them be, if someone hates it they can **** off.

that's all there is to it.

How are you so sure that Moses wasnt just high and made up everything about talking to *** as a burning bush? Maybe he was burning some bush? lol. The Bible was just a made up story that was popular in the first century or whenever =D

Well, The Bible was written in the space of about four thousand years. Any discrepancies are simply translation errors, like, say, translating a game from Japanese to English. The point is still there, it might be worded differently is all. The point being, that even though it was written in such a big huge long time... well, it doesn't change it's message. At all.

It doesn't contradict itself (A lot of people think it does, but that's just contextual). I really hope this makes sense to you, because it's kind of hard to explain... Like wakka said, I'm not a priest or anything. I don't know the deepest corners of Christianity. I can only share what I know, and when I can offer speculation, I'll say that's speculation.

I'm not sure about this, but I think that somewhere in the Bible it says that *** won't come back until everyone in the world hears the Gospel. Like I said, I don't know if that's really true or not, but there ya go.

I think you have the memory and attention span of a goldfish. Only an idiot wouldn't realize that we're talking about the Bible. Like we have been.... for the last...six posts.

I think that in your attempt to be a smartass, you have made yourself look extremely incompetant. To debate with you is pointless, because you are unintelligent. As you have proven repeatedly by regurgitating the corrupt and bias views of others.

So basically you cannot prove the existence of *** without the use past texts such as the Bible. IMHO, *** lives in literature which in this case, is the Bible.

Humans have belief

Humans look for things to believe in

Possesing a belief gives u power

Religion is power

This is made clear by cults who is to say that the bible and so on weren't made to get power, many religions have been alterd by nations to suit them so they dont get rebellion and further support. In many cases religion is used to meet a purpose of the people that set it up and its a way to get power who is to say christianity isnt a cult that grew so big that it no longer seems like a cult to gain power? The same goes for all other forms of religion.

I research other religions due to my unwillingness to accept one thing, moreso to keep an open mind. If Christians would take more time to listen what other religions had to say and were not stuck on this "evangelist modus operandi", they would get along with a lot more people.

I have helped more than a fair share of people to be called arrogant. Read through the "Need help" thread I started and rethink if you calling me arrogant is still appropriate.

Nephilium translates to "THOSE that came down". This refers to a people, or a group of peoples descended from the heavens. Church today would like for you to not remember that.

I never said I believed the Da Vinci Code. Ask yourself this, if the book carried a disclaimer and Dan Brown is a reknowned conspiracy theorist, why are the Churches up in arms about his book/movie? Does it perhaps hit a little too close to home?

I have two questions for you.

1) If *** created light and dark on the 5th day, and Adam on the 6th day, where did million and millions of years of dinosaurs fit in? Day 5.58763463? I have proof dinosaurs existed, do you have proof that the world and everything on it was created in 6 days? And on the fifth day *** created light. Could that be a metaphor for the "Big Bang"? And on the sixth day *** created Adam. Could that not be a metaphor for evolution? There is proof of evolution and cosmic dust theories. What proof does your *** offer as far as doing ALL this in 6 days?

2) In the Bible there were originally two people; Adam and Eve. They had two sons; Caine and Abel. Caine killed Abel, leaving us with Caine, Adam and Eve. How, oh HOW, do we go from two men and one woman (ALL blood related, mind you) to 7 billion people a few thousand years later without everyone on the planet being the prodeuct of incest?

I would also like to point out *** created another woman; Lilith. She refused to be subservient to men, so she was cast out. And that Eve bore Adam another son; Seth. Both of which the Bible do not acknowledge.

Above all, SS1 said it quiet well.
