i think that we should share some rare shows, because if we just shared common shows then we would be like any other site like this that has ever came out

figures a half-assed solution would present itself... the illusion of sharing seems to be more desirable than actually sharing

EDIT: slightly refined Rare Commons design

if you want to update it, then no, you can keep it on your server... it's your call, i don't mind doing the updates

EDIT: my audio/video list fully updated, see page 10

i agree with chesterchaz and AZ""" the really good shows i.e soundboard rips etc should be up for free d/l and concerts like i.e portland 04 should be traded so people can still keep up with a damm good hobby (trading)

Exactly. I agree with that.

were not being unreasonable at the same time we dont want say 100 concerts up for d/l we need to come to a full rule agreement, i think 40-50 GOOD shows is fair for both sides

ok, we've got a fairly large supply of shows available... keep in mind everyone needs time to download everything... i say about 1 FLAC show per week, 2-3 MP3 shows per week... that puts us at about 6 months to get through the full audio bootleg catalog... opinions?

i don't understand the whole... FLAC format.. someone care to explain?
mp2, mp3, wma are all compressed audio, its like zipping files. FLAC, WAV, MKW, SHN etc... are all lossless audio, meaning they've never been compressed. Hence one FLAC file is 39 megs while its mp3 counterpart is like 4 megs.
